“So my boyfriend and I decided last minute to get pizza and wings here. From the moment we opened the door we were greeted by busy employees that all said hi! Even though they were busy the place was clean and everything was fresh. We bought the honey hot pepperoni pizza, bbq wings, and cheese breadsticks and as we were about to walk out the manager gave us pitas on the house! Most definitely will go back to this place. I wasn’t just pleasing to eat but the customer service was the best in town. I’m a picky eater and this is my new go to spot!“

“The pizza was so good my boyfriend and I came here twice during our week stay in detroit. The edges are crisped to perfection! And you can tell all the ingredients used are fresh. Highly recommend the Packard pepperoni, perfect amount of spicy and sweet. The pizzas are large enough to share and you have the option to do half and half. The only con is there isn’t a ton of seating so you might end up waiting for a table but it's well worth the wait.“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Have been going her for at least 40 years if not longer. The food is absolutely wonderful. The ambience inside the restaurant is very comfortable and most relaxing. The only bad thing is they have not fixed the men's bathroom in over a year, maybe longer. We women do not enjoy sharing a bathroom with men who pea on the floor and also on the toilet seat. We want our bathroom back!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

“Came in had the birria ramen with the salad and pork gyoza. Also had tried the smoky wakashi old fashioned overall I would give it a 7 out of 10 it wasn't bad I enjoyed the ramen. The salad was okay A bit small and you had gotten four yoza with the combination platter. Other than that the interior was very clean and nice mid to upscale restaurant would recommend trying this place again.“

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. We were welcomed so warmly, all of the staff greeted us and gave is their insight on what’s popular and what they recommend.

The food was out together production-line style yet every bite was delicious. The vegetables were crips and fresh. The chicken was still not and perfectly seasoned and the rice was an aromatic base to the meal.

As we were leaving we were asked what we thought and how the staff recommendations worked out for us; my answer, 10/10.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful and freshly prepared by the time I arrived — you could tell real care went into them. I had the pleasure of chatting with Darrion from operations, who was incredibly kind and helpful while they were putting the order together. It's rare to find that kind of genuine, friendly service these days.

I also got to try one of their salads, and I was impressed — super fresh, delicious, and packaged so compactly that it was easy to take on the go. Everything about this place reflects a team that truly takes pride in what they do.
