“We first went to imperial in 2024 on our first visit to Detroit. As soon As we landed, we drove straight here for a meal that we knew would satisfy. The service is always fast and friendly ( ask your server for recommendations for food, drinks, activities they won’t steer you wrong). We opted for the taco of the week ( vegan chorizo and creamy), imperial Sonoran and tostada, as well as the nachos. We were all stuffed and happy. Shout out to Pricilla“

“We hosted our baby shower at D’Amato’s in December, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Yes, but - the order and pay by phone ruins the overall experience of Mudgies. Can’t ask an app about the menu. Spent 10 minutes looking on the interface to order an ice tea. Figured it was my lack of finding the menu. Had to flag someone down to learn they were out of ice tea. All those things a server would tell you. But alas you don’t get. So good food, crappy experience! Lower your expectations, taking on the McDonald’s approach, sad really. Oh and if you want an item on the side they charge extra for that?! And with this order system no one asked me how my lunch was- or if I needed anything. So my sandwich was cold and sat awhile before it was quickly dropped at my table. I am so bummed - loved this place. The good news is there are now a ton of amazing options for lunch in Corktown. I recommend tipping much less because you are really on your own.“

Scallops for the wife and lamb chops for me were the BEST!!! Made for a great night. Item #1 - Chris Dan......, our Waiter was Exceptional!!!. Knows what he is doing that is for sure. Great attitude, funny, professional by far, knows how to do a great job, and offered some great selections (the porcini rubbed Lamb Chops were the best I have ever had). My waiter, forgot his name, which I'm sorry, gave us so much attention, love, advice, patience and a beautiful smile, I can't compliment him enough. He's tall,slim,light skinned and bald. The waiter made my celebration special without knowing I was celebrating my birthday.I enjoyed my visit and lunch at PFChangs. “Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. “Eastern Market is such a great neighborhood, and the restaurants and breweries popping up around the area continue to impress me. Full Measure Brewing Company is definitely one worth checking out!

One of the things that stood out was the beer selection. They had a great variety of beers, including a ginger beer and several other interesting styles that I don’t typically see breweries making themselves. I always appreciate a brewery that’s willing to get creative and offer something different.

The atmosphere was great, with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a nice place to hang out and enjoy the neighborhood.

I ordered the bourbon bacon French toast, which came with a delicious cream sauce and walnuts. It was fantastic! The combination of flavors really worked, and several other dishes I saw looked equally good. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

I also noticed they have a variety of events throughout the week that sounded like a lot of fun. It’s always nice when a brewery offers more than just good beer and food and gives people another reason to come back.

I’d absolutely visit again. If you’re exploring Eastern Market, especially if you’re doing a brewery tour of the area, Full Measure Brewing Company is definitely worth a stop!“
