I didn't think to take a picture of the food because I was too busy eating it! I am intimidated by Indian food due to spice tolerance and not knowing what's available. I got a staff recommendation that accommodated my lactose intolerance. The smells, the texture, the taste-everything was spot on. I was here around 8pm and ordered the Bombay Aloo with Garlic Naan and basmati rice. Both the basmati rice and Garlic naan were delicious, and the curry wasn’t bad but I ordered it on the hot spice level and it tasted more like a medium.

The food is here is very well made. You can tell it is made from scratch and made with fresh ingredients. Tanzilla our server was very accommodating and sweet. Don’t be steered away by the location, better than most restaurants in Birmingham.
