I’ve been getting large round pizzas with 2 toppings for $12 dollars and some change. And I’m not talking some cardboard tasting little ceasers resembling pizza, I’m talking about some real deal pizza. And it’s like an old school pizza shop in here, just stepping inside to the calming waiting area chills me out after a long work day. Great pizza place“

“We hosted our baby shower at D’Amato’s in December, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Had a wonderful experience today at Cacao Tree Cafe in Royal Oak. The food was fresh, thoughtful, and truly delicious. I had the Southern Bowl, and it was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. You can feel that this business was built with care, purpose, and integrity. “We first went to imperial in 2024 on our first visit to Detroit. As soon As we landed, we drove straight here for a meal that we knew would satisfy. The service is always fast and friendly ( ask your server for recommendations for food, drinks, activities they won’t steer you wrong). We opted for the taco of the week ( vegan chorizo and creamy), imperial Sonoran and tostada, as well as the nachos. We were all stuffed and happy. Shout out to Pricilla“

“First time trying Detroit style pizza and we knew we wanted to try Buddy’s. We weren’t totally sure what to order, but luckily Dejuan our server was incredible! He gave us wonderful recommendations, great service , and he was just fun! We had a delicious meal and a great time. We had 2 different kinds of pizza and the famous antipasto salad and it was all so good! So much so that we are going back tomorrow for more! And the manager Rondah stopped by our table to make sure everything was great and we let her know how happy we were with our entire experience, a true testament to what a great job she is doing running everything! We also loved that this is the original location on Conant St. and has a cool mural outside and such a great ambiance inside! If you are in Detroit this is the place to be!“

“I popped in when I saw they had fresh baklava. I’m from the west side of Michigan where It’s hard to find good, real baklava. I’m so very happy I stopped in to buy a large tray of baklava. “I have been going here so long it's not even funny. Always great tasting, excellent customer service and their pick up time estimates are dead on. Where else can you feed multiple people for under $10? Leagues above Little Caesars and not pretentiously priced like Jets. I will never get pizza anywhere else. Website needs a bit of updating as far as some buttons not working and it would be nice if the hours were available on the website, but I've never had an issue ordering and they never disappoint!“

“I very rarely write a review but today I must. I called in the afternoon to ask to have a few cupcakes set aside for my daughter to pick up after work. We especially wanted a carrot cake one for my husband's birthday (it's his favorite). I was mistakenly told they don't do that. I was unable to go down to the bakery because of wildfire smoke outside that I have to avoid due to a health condition. When my daughter was able to get there after work she was told they didn't have anymore carrot cake cupcakes.
Just after business hours I received a call from Candi. She was responding to my first call when I left a message asking to place this order. When she heard about my disappointing experience she told me they in fact did have 3 of the cupcakes left and she felt so bad about it she actually hand delivered them to us, plus an extra German chocolate one, at our house at no charge!
Thank you, Candi, for going way above and beyond customer service and making my husband's birthday extra special!
I should also add, we have been customers of Christine's Bakery for about 10 years and their baked goods are the best around. Whether you want to treat yourself to a single cupcake or order something for a special occasion, Christine's is the place to go!“

“I’m new to the area and ordered pizza and breadsticks from here a couple weeks ago..it was delicious.. Today, I found myself too lazy to cook for myself again and again I put my trust into passport pizza. I was not disappointed. This time I tried the bone in wings. Boy oh boy, when I tell you they were the best carry out wings I have ever had.. I mean it..I was unsure about the mango habanero sauce so it was suggested when I ordered that I get them with the sauce on the side. Well, I ate all of the wings and I still don’t know what the sauce tastes like. They were so good it never even crossed my mind to cover them with anything.. So, if anyone is new to the area (or not) and is unsure of where to order food from.. skip the big pizza chains you’ve been eating and try Passport Pizza in Roseville on 10 mile n Gratiot. You’ll be happy you did.“
