I've always enjoyed cakes from Terris but I recently participated in the Saturday cake decorating class with my friends and it was so much fun! We had a great time and got great instruction! Thank you to Garnet and all her staff for the hospitality!
I ordered a cake for Thanksgiving at the recommendation of a friend. The cake was beautiful, personally delivered timely and reasonably priced. I tasted a small piece of the cake prior to my event and let’s just say I almost didn’t have any cake left for the event lol! I will be ordering again soon!

Based on the reviews, Terri’s Detroit is a wonderful restaurant and bakery. Terri is attentive and accommodating, making the space perfect for small weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, big family gatherings, and community events. The food is great, with salmon seasoned perfectly and roasted potatoes that could be eaten by the plateful. The location is great, with classy advertising on the outside of the building. The specialty cakes are perfect for any special occasion, including German chocolate cake that is super moist with the right texture and lots of pecans and coconut. The various selection of cupcakes, the flavor of the cakes, and the frosting is out of this world. Every bake is made with quality, care, and precision. The personal touch and customer service are amazing. The cakes are outstanding, absolute perfection beyond delish. The bakery also hosts classes, special events, and neighborhood gatherings like water infrastructure discussions and dance parties.
