“On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “I had an incredible experience with Holy Cannoli’s. The cannoli shells are nice and crisp, and the filling is delicious. They fill each cannoli when you order, which keeps the shells crisp and the filling fresh. I will definitely be going back for more.“

“I am always on the lookout for a good cupcake bakery especially since the 90 year old Knudsen bakery in North Rosedale Park closed when The owners retired. Since I was at the business next door, I had to stop in and was so happy I did. A larger selection of regular and gluten free versions. They also have cookies and even dog treats. The cupcakes were $4.75 each and worth every penny. Some of the freshest ones I have had in a while. Moist cake and rich icing. I got 3, carrot cake, chocolate cake with vanilla icing and vanilla cake with vanilla icing. The service was friendly and efficient along with being pleasant to talk with. Has parking lot. On the SE corner of Longlake and Woodward. I hope to be close to it again so I can enjoy some of the best cupcakes I have had.“

“Just has a really nice sushi lunch here. Sushi lunch special well priced at $14. The food was great and served was appropriately attentive. Atmosphere cute and homey. Love that it’s in Rochester’s charming downtown. Would definitely come back.“

“I popped in when I saw they had fresh baklava. I’m from the west side of Michigan where It’s hard to find good, real baklava. I’m so very happy I stopped in to buy a large tray of baklava. It has been quite the hit in my house and at work. Some of the best baklava I’ve had. Unfortunately though, their website is down so several co-workers were unable to order.“
