Too many onions. Grew up having homemade pasties from our church. Usually meat, small potato pieces and carrot pieces. These are too full of onions. Also, if onions are so prominent, sauté first so the onion itself has flavor. Sorry.
Delicious!! I've tried the beef and chicken. Both were great.
Bought 6 different pasties from the Holly farmers market….. OMG they are amazing. Currently eating the Buffalo and Venison. 10 out of 10.

Uncle Peter Pasties offers wonderful food and outstanding service. The gluten free pasties are stocked frozen, with options including beef, venison, elk, and lamb. The people there are super friendly and kind. One customer, who is allergic to wheat, was kindly helped when a frozen gluten free pastie was heated up for lunch. The beef pastie was described as the most amazing south of the bridge, and the venison pastie was packed full and delicious. Other menu items tried include corned beef, spinach pasties, chicken pastie, and apple dumplings. The potato salad and gravies were also good. Customers have bought pasties to take home and have taken home cookies as well. The staff, including an employee named Jamie, adds to the overall experience. It is the best pastie experience in the southern part of the state, and customers will definitely be back for more.
