“Uncle Peter's makes excellent pasties, I have never been disappointed with an order. It's a simple place making a few things really well. On Fridays and on Saturdays the apple pasties are very good if you can save room for it.The people working here are friendly and rightfully proud of the food they are making. Don't forget the gravy!Dietary restrictions: They do make gluten free pasties which are decent for what they are. If you need gluten free, I don't imagine you would be unhappy. The regular pasties are excellent, the gluten free crust is good enough and the fillings are as good as the regular pasties.“
“Been going to GLAC (Great Lakes Athletic Club) since it's opening back in 2006. Over the years they have always had the best facilities and equipment in town. Their powerlifting room in the back is such an outstanding addition. They are also the only spot in town with a Sauna, Steam bath (all though it does have a tendency to go down, which all stems rooms do), indoor pool and outdoor pool. Prices spiked after COVID but I feel that was expected as less people go to gyms now and that sneaky inflation. Also their staff is always extremely friendly. Chris, one of their sales associates, is a real good guy who works hard and is there to help you out. I'll go here as long as I live here! One knock... BRING BACK THE TOWELS!!! Getting real sick of bringing my own, they take up half my damn gym bag in the summer.“
“While I recommend this Kroger overall, it is starting to be by default only as there are limited other places to shop at. I know the Bakery here is essentially independent of Store Management, but I have repeatedly asked for you to carry Goldminer California Sourdough Toasted Onion Square Bread only to have it ordered ONCE and then never again. You see, I took the liberty of contacting them directly and they informed me that that bread variety was their number one seller in Michigan but yet you, Kroger in Lake Orion, seemingly refuses to sell it. Why? Furthermore, what happened to Russo's Onion Rye variety bread that you used to sell? A fellow can't even buy good bread to make sandwiches anymore. Pathetic. Horrible. I'm telling Mom.“
“Love these donuts! I'll have to take pics next time! They have this pineapple upside down muffin, it's to die for! We always get a variety! They have so many to choose from but it's definitely best to get there earlier in the day, so you can have a wider selection.“

“These are some of the best cookies and small baked goods I've had since I stopped baking myself! I have not tasted anything yet that I wasn't an immediate fan of, so much so that I have to pace myself to eating just one or two a day instead of my entire purchase when I get home. The scones are the most moist and tasty I've ever had (even the jalapeno, which I didn't think I'd like). The mini-banana breads are a delight, and the cookies (especially the Snickerdoodles) just take me right back to my mother's/aunt's/and my own baking! Just a wonderful shop!“

The door to the restaurant is narrow, a single door, which could be problematic for someone in a wheelchair for example, it is also a pull door with a small handle, which could also present difficulties for someone. Though this could present an issue for someone, the website offers the menu and screen reading is available, thus this could help someone determine what they want to eat prior to going inside, which could aid the audio issue but also prevent anxiety around ordering in a busy and loud area. There are three big windows at the front, and on a sunny day there is nothing to block it, which could be another barrier to accessibility. The tables in the restaurant are a positive as there are many different kinds, high top, low top, and booths, which allows people to chose what they prefer, and could also allow for more accessibility. The bathrooms at the back of the restaurant have wide doors, are very large, and are singles, which could help if someone needed more space in the bathroom for various reasons.“
“The atmosphere is new, modern and fresh. Thr cookies are above average at best. They typically have like 6-8 flavors to choose from and they switch out the flavors every other week or once a month. I think some locations offer mini sized cookies. A fun fact: they do have their own ice-cream. Some locations don't have cashiers, just a computer you manually order at. Packaging is cute. They can add a small sticker for a ily, hbd, best wishes, things like that. “They did our daughters first birthday cakes - 1 for guests and 1 smash cake. Not only were the decorations better than what we imagined but the cake was delicious. My guests were asking to take some home. The customer service was top notch as well. We won’t go anywhere else for cakes!“
