“I've lived in LO my entire life but haven't been here since they opened... maybe because I wasn't a fan of coffee back then lol! Went here this weekend to spend some time with a friend and saw several other people that I know, so it's a hangout loved by friends! So cozy and inviting, with quick, friendly and earnest service. Oh... and the coffee and scone were great too!“

“The Flour Shop is AMAZING! The edible cookie dough appears to be a huge hit and I can tell why. There are 4 different flavors: Brookie, Unicorn, Regular chocolate chip, and cookie monster. She also does custom orders and cake pops. The store is adorable, located in the center of Canterbury Village. I am extremely impressed with everything I have tried from the Flour Shop and hope everyone gets a chance to go sometime!“

“Absolutely horrible experience, I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. They gave me a tuna salad sandwich. I was the only car in the drive-through and it took forever. I ordered a large beverage they gave me a medium beverage and you try to call the store and it says it’s unavailable.! I obviously I didn’t have time to go back to throw the stupid tuna sandwich at them because I was on break from work“

“These are some of the best cookies and small baked goods I've had since I stopped baking myself! I have not tasted anything yet that I wasn't an immediate fan of, so much so that I have to pace myself to eating just one or two a day instead of my entire purchase when I get home. The scones are the most moist and tasty I've ever had (even the jalapeno, which I didn't think I'd like). The mini-banana breads are a delight, and the cookies (especially the Snickerdoodles) just take me right back to my mother's/aunt's/and my own baking! Just a wonderful shop!“

“The atmosphere is new, modern and fresh. Thr cookies are above average at best. They typically have like 6-8 flavors to choose from and they switch out the flavors every other week or once a month. I think some locations offer mini sized cookies. A fun fact: they do have their own ice-cream. Some locations don't have cashiers, just a computer you manually order at. Packaging is cute. They can add a small sticker for a ily, hbd, best wishes, things like that. Cookies are about $3.99-6.99 depending how you buy them (higher quality are cheaper).Vegetarian options: They only make cookies or ice-cream so safe to assume it's not vegetarian friendly.Dietary restrictions: Ask them if you have dairy allergies or nutallergy. .Parking: Decent area to park, lots of doordasher at this location thoughKid-friendliness: Fun place to take a kid or a teenager!Wheelchair accessibility: They have wide enough doors for a wheelchair. “This local restaurant in Michigan has it's positive and negatives regarding accessibility. The door to the restaurant is narrow, a single door, which could be problematic for someone in a wheelchair for example, it is also a pull door with a small handle, which could also present difficulties for someone. Upon entering, the line to order food also intersects with tables for seating creating a very narrow area, but also a very overstimulating one. The kitchen is not blocked off by a full wall, thus the sounds from the kitchen, staff, and people eating presents a very noisy environment that could be overstimulating for some, and also make it challenging for someone with a hearing impairment to hear. Though this could present an issue for someone, the website offers the menu and screen reading is available, thus this could help someone determine what they want to eat prior to going inside, which could aid the audio issue but also prevent anxiety around ordering in a busy and loud area. There are three big windows at the front, and on a sunny day there is nothing to block it, which could be another barrier to accessibility. The tables in the restaurant are a positive as there are many different kinds, high top, low top, and booths, which allows people to chose what they prefer, and could also allow for more accessibility. The bathrooms at the back of the restaurant have wide doors, are very large, and are singles, which could help if someone needed more space in the bathroom for various reasons.“

“They did our daughters first birthday cakes - 1 for guests and 1 smash cake. Not only were the decorations better than what we imagined but the cake was delicious. My guests were asking to take some home. The customer service was top notch as well. We won’t go anywhere else for cakes!“

“I came here to support a local women owned business for women's history month. It's a small bakery in downtown Rochester Hills located in the alley behind Main Street. Staff were friendly and helpful. I picked out a few treats to share with my women's group. I got a few treats for myself and I definitely want to come back and try some other items. I got a pistachio eclair. It was good but the inside cream was a little runny side. I would have liked to taste more of the cream but it all dripped out each time I bit into it. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their selection of bakery treats.“

“I drive 20 miles just for their pies! They have a great selection, whole pies or by the slice. They also have hand pies! Last time I got coconut cream, strawberry/rhubarb, keylime. All were delicious! If you want pie, this is the place! The staff are very friendly as well.“

“My family loves this place so I had to try it. The strawberry bagel bomb was delicious, the sausage egg and cheese bomb was very good. I tried their blueberry scone and while it did taste good I do not understand how it can be called a scone. It was more like a very soft blueberry biscuit. The bubble tea was overly sweet and not at all traditional bubble tea (I wasn’t expecting it to be but it was no where near as good as actual boba). The ambiance was amazing. My sister loves their hot chocolate, I didn’t try it. Their coffee with cream was a three out of five.“

“April's Famous Bakes recently made our wedding cakes and we have heard nothing but rave reviews over them! We brought to-go boxes for people to take with and all 8 of our cakes were completely cleared out! I have heard amazing things about specifically the carrot cake and the chocolate cake!Even beyond cakes, you should see April where you can! Whether it is her dessert bar in Waterford, out in Holly, or the Oakland County Farmer's Market, everything is amazing. Special shout out to the peanut butter cookies!“

“Everything about this place is great. I ordered cupcakes and they were really good. The carrot cupcake was a hit! I’m more of a girl who likes the cake part and little to no icing, so their icing was a lot for me, everyone else eating agreed it was a lot…HOWEVER, it was realllllllly good. I personally loved the lemon cupcake. The chocolate lovers said that the chocolate was so rich and yummy. Happy to have found this little gem.“

“Colleen and her staff do an amazing job at cakes. I've ordered cakes from all over the city over the years and hers by far is the most beautiful and the most delicious! She has done my wedding cake, garden parties, Spa Events, and more. I've never been disappointed. Don't look any further!“

“Uncle Peter's makes excellent pasties, I have never been disappointed with an order. It's a simple place making a few things really well. On Fridays and on Saturdays the apple pasties are very good if you can save room for it.The people working here are friendly and rightfully proud of the food they are making. Don't forget the gravy!Dietary restrictions: They do make gluten free pasties which are decent for what they are. If you need gluten free, I don't imagine you would be unhappy. The regular pasties are excellent, the gluten free crust is good enough and the fillings are as good as the regular pasties.“
