“Dude's BBQ is sick. He hooks it up with extra sides too. However, it's first come, first serve. So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.“

“First time customers (7/12/2025). We needed to find a new BBQ place to satisfy our taste buds since SHEETZ is taking over 12 & Mound. WE FOUND IT. Ordered the Judges' sampler to try their variety. Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans and Hush Puppies are ALL EXCELLENT. The Coleslaw could have been a bit creamer, but we didn't come here for veggies or salad. Loved their sauces as well. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.“

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“The BBQ wings are so good! A bit dry but the seasoning definitely makes up for it. The sides are bomb too, great Mac and cheese, yams, and baked beans. The greens are flavorful but a tad bit on the salty side. The banana pudding is delicious too. Definitely going back!“

“One of the best Roast Duck, Roast Pig spot here in Madison Heights. I drive from Lansing just to come pick up roast duck or both when I really wants some or when I'm in the area I always stop by.
They also sell other meat there including cuttlefish, pig ears etc. its a small spot only for pick up and go. Price went up like everything else but cheaper then the one in Grand Rapid. I highly recommend. They only take cash.“

I was determined to sample something else on their menu tonight and while the hubs was figuring out what he wanted, I started to read the reviews and was a bit shocked with a few of them. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.“

“I was hard-core craving Mac and Cheese Pizza only to find that nobody makes it anymore....and then I found Pizzianos. I had people recommend them before but hadn't made it over there...but now I had to! The food...omg! Delicious. I dont even have words to describe the cinnamon bread. Perfection. And on top of the food being amazing, the customer service....superb! The gentleman i interacted with was beyond friendly and informative and I am now sold as a regular customer!“

“Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. Waitress of course didn’t mention the added cost and I didn’t notice until after the fact. Seemed odd for such a small party, but feel they should warn us while paying“

“A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.

They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.“

Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. “I grew up on BBQ cooked over charcoal, which is quite different than the smoked ribs i usually encounter. Yes, cooking over charcoal does sometimes create that bark on one side of the meat but i love it. This place has had me in a chokehold for the past month, with me driving 30 mins each way to eat. I love it. I am a large end kind of guy and this place is the best i've had with only Vicky's coming in second. Once, the ribs were fatty but i doin't care. Every other time, they were delicious.

Regarding the sides... This is where most BBQ joints struggle. The Coleslaw and potato salad are either off a Sysco truck or similar to Kroger prepared food. The green beans kind of remind me of the green beans you'd get if the church had a bbq dinner sale... not bad. The baked beans... not the best. When i order, i usually have some macaroni made at home and i always have a bag of cooked greens in the freezer. I live solo so i will make food, freeze it and have it along side their meat. I did not like the greens there but the potato salad and slaw, for what it is; unless you're going to be making it... boiling and peeling potatoes...dicing celery and belle pepper, this works :)

“Theirs not to many places around the city that offer a good, hardy and delicious New Orlean style seafood gumbo but, I happened to be driving around on the westside and was hungry and decided to give a new place I'd heard about from a friend. The spot is called "Dem Noles Bois"...It's been awhile since I had a good gumbo. I've got to tell you, to my surprise, this was the best gumbo that I’ve had in years definitely five stars. I definitely will be back again...I want to try the BBQ Ribs, the fried chicken wings, and for sure, the fried shrimp dinner. P.s., the Banana Pudding was on point“

“The food was damn good and well worth the price I will be checking this place out again the ghetto Burger was good it really didn't stand out from any other Burger but it was still good the cheesecake dessert was the only thing I did not like and honestly it didn't even taste like cheesecake was more like Frozen cake so I'll pass on the dessert but everything else that I had was damn good.“
