Really want to like this place due to proximity to their location, but have been let down each time. First time the chicken tenders were burned beyond recognition on a carry-out, and had my first in person tonight and was disappointed again. The waitress was nice, but we weren't given plates for our appetizer and were largely ignored. I ordered the fish & chips and was shocked at how bad the fish was. Super thick flavorless breading and was comparable to a frozen box from the grocery store. Fries were covered in salt and nearly inedible. Additionally, the entire place was sticky.

Great owner, staff and cliental! Grew up in the neighborhood. This local owner has upped the game and made a really enjoyable, friendly, fun neighborhood meeting place. Food is really good, entertainment nights and special events are really great. Wonderful neighborhood frequent that never fails to deliver!!

I have been ordering carry out from here for years. I normally did off GrubHub but stopped since stuff was always missing or wrong. I had started again recently through the online platform they are now using. Three times I have ordered, and three times something is missing. Paid for sauces, entire sides of fries, etc. Tonight was tartar sauce for the fish. I left a tip for carry out and put a note to make sure it was in there... Just like always, something was left out. I'm done. I can't go back up there and it's pointless to call. I will just go somewhere else from now on.
