The food though I have been twice with groups of 4 all getting different items and everyone raves about their choice. The steak tips are perfect with the honeymustard and the bowl of chili has just the right spice. Definitely coming back.“

“We needed to find a place to eat after my son's competition and this was right across the street. They had been wanting to go for some time now and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is fun and the service was very good, the waitress knew alot about the menu and was very helpful for us first timers. The food came out fast and was delicious. We love the hot pretzel appetizers and the large burgers that are very generously portioned. We have been here multiple times and have never had something that we didn’t like! Re: Rochester, I had some extraordinary chicken fajitas, pizza's is decent, pastas is okay, but more importantly, it's a rare place in Oakland county where you can have a variety of dishes and they're all pretty much down the pipe. Burgers are extremely good, and the staff is friendly with lots of smiles and good eye candy (cute staff), lots of TV's, and the lights aren't obnoxious, what more do you want?“

The service was extremely friendly and all over any requests I had. The food and drinks were great and the restaurant just appeared to run like a well-oiled machine. Most restaurants are short staffed on major holidays, whereas Grand Tavern appeared to have it all figured out ahead of time.I had visited a couple times to watch NCAA tournament games and I've noticed that things here have really improved over the last couple months. Food orders come out quicker than ever and the staff is very attentive. The owners hired a new manager called Netty a couple months ago that I've met and had some friendly banter with, and she is absolutely brilliant at what she does. It was Saturday night and although there were only 4 tables occupied, it was more than she could handle. It took several minutes to get our drinks and the appetizer never came out unfortunately. The dinners were a sufficient size and not bad. The cod was moist & decent, but the "beer batter" was not as good as I had hoped. The fries were good though. We just had my daughter’s birthday party over there and had the pleasure to have Sam as a waiter. I have never in my life had better service than I did with Sam, what an absolute gem!
