“Visited Griffin's Sports Bar for an employee Christmas party with appx. 35 to 40 ppl in our group. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food came surprisingly quick and our drink glasses were, for the most part, always full! "Fowling" was a blast! Easy to learn for first-timers as well as a great workout with very low impact on your body! Will definitely be back. Enjoyed the experience tremendously!“

“This place will forever hold a place in my heart. I called in a panic one day to place a takeout order for loved ones who had just lost the head of their household. The woman who answered the phone could tell I wasn't thinking clearly and went above and beyond to help take care of my family. Not only did they provide freezer-ready food that would be easy for my family to use in single servings, but they also were very sweet to me when I walked in to pick up the order. It's experiences like this that help you remember the good in the world in Mexico Linda will stand out. It's been a few weeks since I placed this order but I still think about that experience everyday. The food was amazing but the people are even better.“

“I did not try the food, however my friend did and said it was good!! She loves the sweet potato tots, LOL. Great atmosphere, good beer/drink selection & has a sweet outdoor patio equipped with like 6 fire pit tables that seat 8!!Tilly was our server, and she KILLED IT!!! She was training someone tonight as well, so she really earned her minimum wage plus tips! She did an awesome job - even stopped to have a 5-10 min conversation with us ang the end of the night; although I’m sure she had lots of side work to do before she could close! “Best burger anywhere, I have to visit anytime I return to the USA. For me this place is a perfectly American experience. Best burger, staff are always great, and what I really like is that is not trying to be nicer than it is…. Its just a great place to hang out and burger up. Ah, and a surprisingly great selection to drink. I rarely do reviews, and havent reviewed anywhere in Michigan before. If I wanted anything else, it would be for the batting cages from the old days to come back!This place is a hidden gem.“
“Hubby and I love take out from this bar. He loves their fish and chips. Says they are cooked just right and tasty. I always go for the D-town salad with chicken dumpling soup to have later. Salad has all the ingredients I love and the raspberry vinaigrette dressing is awesome.“

The wait staff and owner are always prompt, courteous and engaging. Other favorites are the barbecued beef tips, and the fish and chips. I believe they provide good value with the quality of food and service they deliver.“

“Let's start by saying Thank You, MacKenzie! We ordered a fair amount of food and a few drinks. I strongly recommend AGAINST the ribeye. The cuts are less than an inch and don't grill right- that or the chef doesn't know what "medium" is. They replaced the first one because it was cooked "well done," and the second one came out "medium well" and had a majority of fat. But the awesome wait staff came to our rescue, and we continued to enjoy our time.“
“I am very new and quite self-conscious about golf, including anxious that I’ll hit someone, or at least make them nervous that I will. This was my first experience using a simulator and I really appreciated the privacy of it. No one to watch me completely miss the ball, or shank it in their direction. A very generous friend gave me several pointers and the on-screen stats reinforced all of his points. The nice variety of beverages and friendly staff made this a very enjoyable experience. Thanks!“
“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“I decided to go the soup and appetizer route for lunch today. I've eaten here several times but have never left a review. Today was a solo lunch trip. Started off with the French onion soup. Hands down best French onion soup in the Tri State area. The broth had a perfect balance of onion flavor and salt. Strips of onion & chunky croutons are buried under a thick layer of baked Provolone. When served, you see the crispy cheese hanging over the sides(which is always the last part I eat). Once you break that layer of Provolone, your tongue starts to get wet in anticipation for that 1st bite. Stringy cheese, onions, croutons & the broth are a perfect bite. A bread stick is served with the soup, but in my opinion, it's not needed. I ordered the Bomber Tots for my meal & was absolutely surprised at how delicious they were. It's basically a Nacho Supreme, but instead of corn chips, you get tater tots. On a large bed of Tator Tots is a very generous amount of chili, which is smothered in Queso. On top of that is another thick layer of mixed cheeses & chopped scallions & a side of sour cream.I guess I needed to come here on my own to really appreciate the food here before I wrote a review.“

“Burger was honestly pretty good, I did not have high expectations, and it was pretty darn good. Staff is really approachable and friendly. Live music the night I went, and they were really great! Other patrons really seemed to enjoy the music as well.The only reasons I didn't give five stars all around was that it was weird sitting at a table right next to the men's bathroom and trying to eat, and the chairs are in a need of a change. Spring was coming out of one that would hit the floor. These still wouldn't stop me from coming back, but I would pick another table in the future.“
“We were working in the area and got hungry. When I called to see if the kitchen was open the man said he was closing but would make us food. He was so polite so I hung up and checked out the menu. Called back within minutes and placed our order. My husband got the BLT dinner (sandwich fries and pickel) and I just got a cheeseburger. It was only 21.00 we can't even eat at fast food for that price... my husband loved his BLT so much he called to tell them how delicious it was. He said "Hands down BEST BLT I've ever eaten. My burger was perfect I asked for well-done (I can't eat pink meat) most people burn it, not this place. It was cooked with perfection and tasted sooo good. I only ate half because it was gigantic but I'll definitely ear the other half tomorrow.. I very rarely eat my leftovers but I will most definitely eat this...Next time we are working in the area we will definitely head out early so we can go sit down and eat... HANDS DOWN GREAT FOOD!!! “A group of friends and I went to this location last night and the service was terrible. 40 mins for a beer, over a hr for our food. Speaking of food... some of the group complained that it wasn't prepared properly (undercooked). Also they completely forgot my order. The whole table was eating but me smh. To top it all off, they charged us a extra $10 per person for a fight we had no interest in watching. The flyer on the door said it's a cover (never seen a cover at Twin Peaks mind you) for those who are seated after 9pm. Our party was there prior to 9pm and we were basically told that we'd have to pack up and leave or pay the "event service charge". I talked to the manager several times and he was unwilling to wave the fee no matter how bad our service was. I frequent Twin Peaks atleast once a week, and this was by far the worse experience I've ever had. They will never get another dime of my hard earned money.“

“I enjoyed my experience at this place. The first time I visited, I just ordered a beer. But I made a special trip back because the chicken wings looked pretty good as the waitress was bringing them by.So when I returned, I gave the wings a try and was very impressed. They were seasoned with a dry lemon pepper rub and I ordered ranch on the side.I also liked the fact that they have 32oz mugs for their draft beer. I felt like a champ drinking out of a glass that size.I also enjoyed the atmosphere of this place as well. It's a very blue collar feel with many tvs to watch sporting events.In the back corner of the bar, there is a spot with darts and other bar games.Overall, I will definitely be back in for some beer and wings when ever back in the neighborhood.“
“Wow!!!! Let me say that Adam, Mike and staff made my daughter's 13th birthday party/Bat Mitsvah absolutely perfect! I could not ask for a better venue with a better staff than On the Dunes. We had over 150 people and it was organized & managed perfectly. They let us come in early and add decorations before our party and helped us out doing it. All night long Mike made sure food, drinks and activities were flowing. He was in constant contact with me on the status of everything. The staff was amazing. They were so nice and professional. I have been to many establishments and have never had the personal touch they provided. The food was great, from the dips to the sliders. We had several foodies & some professional chefs for this party, and they were impressed by the quality of the "Bar Food", especially the chicken tenders. I never post reviews, but my experience was amazing. This is a Gem for all small and big events.“
