“I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.”

“The food is what makes this place. While short staffed, they did an adequate job. When we were seated, we waited about five minutes before a waitress came by with water, put the glasses on the table, at the edge, not in front of us, and left without a word. No hello, good morning, smile, nothing. A few minutes later, utensils wrapped in a napkin were brought, in the same manner. Eight minutes later, we got up to walk out, but another waitress came up to the table to take our order. Friendly, and apologized for the wait. We stayed and enjoyed our meal. But I doubt we’ll go back. I recommend it for the food only. The first waitress left us with a bad impression, we didn’t feel welcome, but the one who actually took our order somewhat made up for that. But we’ll go somewhere else next time. Shame, because the food was excellent.”

The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.”

“I have no longer slept on Siegel's Deli. I took my mom there with me today. It does not reach the same heights as Stage does, let's get that out of the way right out front.

Now, that might sound like a condemning comment, but I can assure you that it is not. We were very impressed with what we had, and our experience as a whole. My mom got the Elliot (corned beef on rye with cole slaw and Russian dressing with new dill pickles) and I got the Club sandwich. Both of us had water as beverages.

That club sandwich I had, while certainly not cheap, was excellent. Very good off-the-bone turkey, crispy/tasty bacon, lots of lettuce and lovely tomato, on correctly toasted bread. The only thing I changed was that I added more mayo because of the sheer *size* of the thing...this sandwich was *HUGE*!!! I ate it all, and I was not just satisfied, but happy with it. As well: they really made this thing look absolutely beautiful on the plate. Impressively so. So they definitely score points here.

They *also* score points with that corned beef sandwich, too. All of the elements are there, but none of them are up at the level of Stage. Having said that? This is still a very good second tier corned beef sandwich!!! The Sy Ginsberg corned beef was just as good as the one that I'd made earlier in the week. Very good quality there! The rye bread was good, too. The Russian dressing was pretty good, but lacked a bit of something. The new dill pickles were decent, but definitely not up to the level of Stage's...far too mushy and less crispy. Good, but not great flavor. The cole slaw element is the one that really gets noticed: it's just sort of there...it's not *bad*, but it doesn't really bring anything significant to the table, either. Again: decent second tier corned beef sandwich.

There's another thing, though: that decent second tier corned beef sandwich has a *lot* more corned beef on there than you get at Stage, by close to four ounces, I think (Stage does 7 ounces on their Extra Cut, this one is 2/3 of a pound). As well, the sandwich comes in at $17 compared to $22 at Stage. There is a very palpable value statement being made: while the quality is slightly under that of Stage, you do get a *lot* more bang for your buck, and that cannot be overlooked or undervalued. You're getting a heckuva good deal on your corned beef sandwich here, considering that it is, indeed, quite good. Maybe the third best I've had. I am very happy with this give-and-take.

We liked the place itself, too: clean, not snobby or trying to be too upscale, but welcoming all the same. The service by all young folks was darned great! We enjoyed every interaction we had with each of them...they're quite kind, and even let me try a bite of chicken salad before I ordered, just in case that's what I might want. It turned out not to be, but what a lovely move by them! Service was extremely good.

I can absolutely promise that we (and I, myself) shall be going back there.”

“We love Frozone! Flavors are delicious. The owners are so great. Super friendly and funny. This is the only ice cream store we like going to. Once you have their Gelato, no other ice cream compares. Favorite flavors: lemon basil, crème brûlée, pistachio, cafe barista. But honestly we have loved every flavor we have tried from there. Thank you for being so wonderful!”

If you want great tasting and meaty wings; this is the place to order from!!! I’ve tried Wing Snob shortly after they opened last fall and I will never go back to Buffalo Wild Wings again or order from Wing Stop ever again!!! I don’t usually leave reviews, but the Cold Stone in Commerce absolutely deserves some love. From the moment I walked in, the service was next-level. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely cared about making sure I left happy. You can feel the positive energy the second you walk through the door—they greet you with a smile, ask questions about your order, and make you feel like more than just a customer. Now let’s talk about the cake batter ice cream… WOW. This is hands down my favorite flavor, and Cold Stone has absolutely perfected it. It’s rich, smooth, and tastes exactly like fresh cake batter—but even better. I paired it with cookie dough and rainbow sprinkles, and it honestly felt like I was eating dessert in heaven. The texture is always perfect, and the way they mix in your toppings right on the cold stone is pure magic. I’ve been to other Cold Stone locations before, but this one in commerce takes the crown. Clean store, fast service, and they actually take the time to get your order just right. If you’re craving ice cream and want the best of the best, this is the only place to go. Don’t walk—RUN to this Cold Stone. You won’t be disappointed.”
