“I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“

“Dined-in, excellent food at this small restaurant with a few high tables. Split the chicken shawarma plate with veggies with my husband, also ordered hommus and meat grape leaves. Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!“

“Update: I called the store the next day, and spoke with the main manager, Ann. She was really nice, apologized for the situation and offered immediate resolution. She rectified the situation by allowing me to redeem my coupon for the baklava. There was no back and forth on the phone, the situation was handled within the first 30 seconds of speaking to her. I’m surprised by the contest initially with the other assistant manager especially seeing the baklava was only $2.99. A small price for the satisfaction of frequent customer. Nonetheless, I’m changing my review based upon the great customer service I received from Ann.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Pita Way. I got a coupon for six pieces of baklava after my last order, but when I tried to redeem it, the store refused. The assistant manager was rude, dismissive, and made it seem like the problem was entirely on me. No effort to help, no concern for customer loyalty, nothing. I come here often, but this experience really changed how I feel about the place. The food may be good, but the leadership’s attitude is terrible.“

“I have been getting lunch (usually takeout) from this place for about 5 years. They have had the same staff the entire time - great service - truly good , caring human beings! The food is wonderful, especially the falafel sandwich and falafel bowls! Deserts are great too!“

“I come to Pita Way pretty often because it’s super convenient to my job, and it’s become one of my go-to spots. The food quality is always high and, more importantly, consistent every time I order.

I work in fitness and have a very physically demanding job, usually on my feet getting anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day, so I’m mindful about getting enough protein and quality ingredients. The meals here make it easy to stay on track without feeling restricted, and they actually fuel me for my day.

The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, whether I’m dining in or grabbing something to go. The staff is always friendly, and I like that I see a lot of familiar faces when I come in. It says a lot about the place.

Their portions are quite generous, and you have several options for sauces and toppings. I order the Beef Shawarma, and at $8, I get two delicious meals for the price of one! (Admittedly, as a Senior, I have a small appetite.) Staff is always friendly, and they even put my "sauce on the side", so it still tastes fresh for my leftovers. I've frequently seen work crews there ordering Shawarma's multiple chicken wing deals. Give them a try!“

“Great family-friendly diner. We started going there a month or so ago, and every time we are in the area, we are going. Sundays are nice. Big football fans, and they always have the games playing. Food is absolutely phenomenal. I go there and I won't leave without my hashbrowns. A place where you know you're gonna leave a tip because you know you're gonna enjoy every second of your time there, and even more every bite. And big shout out to the young lady who normally waits on us. I'll get her name in an update. She's always very nice, quick, gives us our time, but still always makes sure we have what we need without making us feel rushed.“
