“Greek Islands is a local staple for Birmingham! I have been coming here for over 20 years and it’s my kids favorite place. The restaurant bas seemed to be even busier as of late but the quality of service and food has been amazing. I bring friends and family from out of town and they always say “I wish I had this in my town” I look forward to many more years of enjoying Greek Islands.“

“This is our 2nd visit to Elie’s and we weren’t disappointed. From the time we entered until we left we were treated well. I grew up eating Middle a Eastern food and Elie’s is one of our favorites. I would recommend to anyone, if you want a dining delight, try a Elie’s!“

“Hungry Habibi catered our back yard wedding reception and it was amazing! They did cocktail hour, main course, and late night snack. Honestly, the food left me wanting more. I ordered the chicken tawook and yellow rice with raisins….. so tasty. It was served with creamy garlic sause, grilled yellow pepper and grilled jalapeño pepper with pita bread. Chicken ws cooked to perfection. Ill be back and highly recommend trying this place.“

The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned grilled meats, fresh sides, and amazing hummus. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. “I love this place, the food is delicious! The service is usually quick and always friendly.
Where i have a problem is the fact that they now charge $1.00 for a small cup a feta and olives that used to be free. I understand times are changing and the price of everything is going up but to charge for feta cheese when there is no free cheese option seems dumb to me. This seems like a quick way to make $1 more on each entrée. Everyone knows feta goes hand in hand with middleeastern food, I don't think this should be uncharged.
That's the end of my rant.“

“We had Kal's for the first time today, and my goodness it was so delicious! We enjoyed a cream chicken bowl with hummus; the loaded Falafel starter; and fattoush salad. It was absolutely delightful how fresh everything was. The cream chicken bowl was wonderful, the chicken was tender and crispy on the outside. the salad was the freshest I've had in ages. The loaded Falafel was like nothing we've ever had, the Amba mango sauce is an absolute tasty surprise! The portions are huge the services phenomenal, the prices are on point, and we are already planning a return visit!“

“I have been trying to find a new place to get falafel based foods for a while and THIS PLACE is wonderful! I had their falafel burger with no modifications so I could try it as is and I was not disappointed! I might not get the pickles on it next time but the burger is a definite do again! “Stopped in for a quick lunch in between errands. Ordered 2 quesopitas and they were amazing. The chicken and veggies were so fresh and tasty. In addition to that, when I noticed the table needed to be cleaned they came and cleaned it even though they were understaffed and so busy. One of the kind workers even opened the door for us as we left and kindly wished us happy holiday. The food and customer service were phenomenal! Making this my go to spot for lunch here on out!“

“We've been going here for years and keep returning. The food is good the service excellent and the price is very reasonable. Be sure to try the complimentary fresh baked pita bread with hummus and garlic spread. If you go with a date make certain they have some of the garlic, too, do you cancel each other out. Portions are very good size and you'll get at least one more full maybe two meals out of the leftovers. Get a box for the leftovers and take them home. They have several locations but this is the only one that I've eaten at. I have to believe they are all going to be similar. Enjoy.“
