“We had my daughter’s surprise birthday dinner at A plus yesterday. The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. “On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. What we learned during this visit, Capitol Grille is not only about great food, and great service, it is about the people, very special people who made this visit extraordinary. Mike R.“

I got the crab stuffed shrimp with grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes and it was all divine! Truly enjoyed my birthday dinner w/friends!“

“It's the go to spot (in the area) for fried foods! My go to order is the chicken strip combo meal. They serve up a nice generous portion of chicken strips with the optional lemon pepper seasoning added on at the end which is awesomely delicious. The combo meal comes with bread and a pop......I always get an order of friend corn to go with it as well----its the absolute chronic.The jalapeno poppers are on point too.Legend has it you can use a bridge card here......you buy they fry.?“

“We enjoy places that offer a Happy Hour which includes FOOD options. I do not drink alcohol, but I enjoy trying new places and offering a happy hour menu with food allies me to do that. Clam chowder was good, wings were ok, we did ask for extra crispy but we didn't get that ( I think many kitchens are on auto pilot and don't always look at the guest's request, this happens a lot with french fries being undercooked), dynamite shrimp was good but I could have used more seasoning. Brit was our server and was fantastic. I also appreciated that the other staff members were helping each other by clearing plates, bowls, etc. . Great causal place.“

“We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

“Words cannot express how calming it is to go to Take Sushi. We have been customers for 21 years. The owner carried our daughter around when she was a baby so we could eat. Today as I prepare to send the baby off to college soon they were there for a special lunch. Let us in early and we had the most exquisite selection of chō moriawase. This is the best sushi around. Our friends who were from Japan said it was their favorite in metro Detroit. It’s our favorite because we love the family atmosphere that resounds in this crazy world!“

“We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts!
