“Drunken Noodles was too salty for my taste but otherwise fresh and flavorful. Very friendly staff--smiles included! There were tables and chairs but it may as well have been a small 50 yr old carport or shed. I appreciate an establishment that aesthetically invites you sit and stay a while; this place is not that.“

“Item#2 - Capital Grill made our 38th Anniversary special. Nice Booth, decorations, an Anniversary Card, and 2 flutes of Champagne. The food was exceptional. Scallops for the wife and lamb chops for me were the BEST!!! Made for a great night. Item #1 - Chris Dan......, our Waiter was Exceptional!!!. Knows what he is doing that is for sure. Great attitude, funny, professional by far, knows how to do a great job, and offered some great selections (the porcini rubbed Lamb Chops were the best I have ever had). The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. “Had a good experience at Sedona Taphouse in Troy. Our server was nice, although it took a little while to get our order in and for someone to check back with us. I ordered the Caribbean Crab Sandwich. It was tasty, but a little small for $18, so I was hoping for a bit more value for the price. The restaurant was also pretty noisy. The Cactus Lemonade was delicious, though—that was definitely a highlight! Parking is free, which was nice, even though I had to park toward the back. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would give it 4 stars.“

“Saw this place on Chowdowndetroit. Thought it would be a nice place to take my Filipina wife for her birthday meal. It was like walking into a nice simple restaurant back in the Philippines. Even had the Filipino favorite past time a Karaoke machine just like back home. The only thing missing were the chickens running around outside crowing. The owners were warm and welcoming with a sense of humor. The food was just like back in the Philippines flavorful and filling. For the price it was a value for the combo meal the right amount of food for one person or split between 2 for a light meal. Of the 4 of us eating I was a piggy and ate it all but the other 3 had leftovers to take home. They offer other thing Filipino to go items from the little Filipino (Sari-Sari) store they have. Overall, it's a place I would drive to from Lansing (1hr 20 min drive) again for on a special occasion. This is a slice of the Philippines in metro Detroit.“

“Hazels has a wonderful quarterly rotating menu, and the fresh options are off the charts. Worth the drive to Birmingham for this one. The quality is very good and they take a lot of care in their service and space. Highly recommend- there’s something for everyone!“

“We were looking for a place to have lunch on the water. The patio table overlooking the creek was lovely. We shared the turkey reuben, delicious. We had a grouper taco as well which was amazing. I also had a cup of their James Beard award winning clam chowder. It was the best I’ve ever had, and my wife who doesn’t like chowder enjoyed it as well. We will be back!“

“Was my first time in Churchill’s yesterday, 03/28. Had no idea what to expect, never understood the purpose of the cigar. With that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was great, the old fashioned was amazing and that cigar…now I get it!! So relaxing, great atmosphere and with a great tour guide who was also celebrating his birthday. That’s where he wanted to go, I’m sure glad he did!!! Highly recommend!“

“Came here for a quick dinner with some of my girlfriends after my wedding dress fitting, and it was the perfect spot. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious, and the menu offered plenty of variety with lots of great options to choose from. We each tried different chef selections, and everyone loved both their food and drinks. I especially appreciated the thoughtful mocktail menu for anyone not drinking but still wanting something special. The service was friendly and very attentive, which made the experience even better. “We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious. The duck wings, tagliatelle, and filet were so flavorful. Great food, great company and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!“

The Tikki chicken masala and lamb biryani were excellent. The naan was a little crispy, not what I expected, but still delicious. We got our food in a timely manner. We had to wait a little for our bill but it appeared they were preparing a large carryout order.“

The veal ravioli appetizer was incredible, and the salads were so fresh. The T-bone was cooked to perfection, the filet was incredibly tender, and the salmon with BBQ sauce was so flavorful. To top it all off, the cheesecake was delicious and not overly sweet! Our waiter was so kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
