I just found this Happy Hour M-F 2-5:30
We got here 3:15 on a Thursday, totally chill, parked right out front.
Great spot for half day hookie. Nooner or sooner. ))
We had: bloody mary's, the burger is excellant, salmon dip is very tasty, the fried pickles are spears & lightly breaded. Moving on to the spicy margarita & ranch water.
The patio seating in the afternoon is shaded by the building.
I'll be back.“

“Great Thai food, friendly service, in a little mini mall torn straight from the early 1980s. As far as I can tell, this is pretty authentic (though I'm not Thai, so take that with a big grain of salt). Provides a decent amount of spice, great flavors! They've got a good vegetarian selection.“

It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “My husband and i came for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday (today) to a SLAMMED restaurant. Only one man seemed to be working the floor, which we found out later was the GM, Pudge. He was OUTSTANDING! He was cleaning tables, seating people, taking orders, delivering orders, prebussing tables, making drinks from the bar, THE WHOLE DEAL. On top of that he made time to stop by the table NUMEROUS times to make sure our experience was amazing, which it was. My husband loved his seafood boil and my chicken tenders were great! My girl Z will ALWAYS take good care of you and makes you feel like she loves her job and loves being your server. She charms my nana every time and I’m forever grateful for staff that has the patience to entertain her. She even brought out a dessert for her and threw in some sparkles in her drink just to make her feel so loved and special during her birthday. Above and beyond. She’s the BEST.“

“The Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The vibes were upscale and elegant. Each table had a real candle lit on it. The food was delicious. The egg rolls and Calamari are good.

I ordered a medium Coffee Cured Filet Mignon with Broccoli. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallops potatoes. The son ordered the Steak Frites with Fries very flavorful. My son said it was the best steak he every had. My mom ordered the bone in Cowboy cut Ribeye.

The house bread is so delicious. They put lots of love and attention to the details of every bite. I highly recommend Stoney River for a nice outing for a date or family.“

“Fred's has established themselves as the fsh kings in me and my family eyes.

I really don't know or understand what's going on with the fish market these days, but the fish from other establishments I have frequented, are bad pieces of fish to sell to the market.

I won't name the establishment, but they serve fish for profits only. The quality of the fish is subpar at best .

Fred's has consistently served fresh flavorful fish, with choice pieces that were selected for satisfaction and to cure the hunger of their customers.

“Was my first time in Churchill’s yesterday, 03/28. Had no idea what to expect, never understood the purpose of the cigar. With that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was great, the old fashioned was amazing and that cigar…now I get it!! So relaxing, great atmosphere and with a great tour guide who was also celebrating his birthday. That’s where he wanted to go, I’m sure glad he did!!! Highly recommend!“

“Saw this place on Chowdowndetroit. Thought it would be a nice place to take my Filipina wife for her birthday meal. It was like walking into a nice simple restaurant back in the Philippines. Even had the Filipino favorite past time a Karaoke machine just like back home. The only thing missing were the chickens running around outside crowing. The owners were warm and welcoming with a sense of humor. The food was just like back in the Philippines flavorful and filling. For the price it was a value for the combo meal the right amount of food for one person or split between 2 for a light meal. Of the 4 of us eating I was a piggy and ate it all but the other 3 had leftovers to take home. They offer other thing Filipino to go items from the little Filipino (Sari-Sari) store they have. Overall, it's a place I would drive to from Lansing (1hr 20 min drive) again for on a special occasion. This is a slice of the Philippines in metro Detroit.“

I grew up in NJ/NY & chopped cheese sandwiches from the bodegas are a great memory for me, so this is a good spot to ease my nostalgia. I’ll be trying the Chopped Cheese sandwich next time.“

“Delicious and authentic Polish food, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Many choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed Polish rosół (chicken noodle soup), which was absolutely amazing! Also, pork chops with mashed potatoes and coleslaw were delicious. It all definitely hit the spot. Furthermore, they have Polish beer and other drinks to complete the meal. Best Polish Food around!“

“Here at Byblos for the second time. Byblos serves authentic Lebanese food. Let me begin by saying that the owner is such an awesome guy. I came to the establishment on Sunday when they are actually closed and they still served me a wonderful beef sandwhich. The beef is seasoned very well and it is amazing. So amazing, I had to come back for more. On my second visit, they exceed all expectations with a beautiful chicken and rice platter with salad, hummus, and pita bread. I have had a lot of Mediterranean dishes and Persian dishes in my lifetime to say that Byblos by far has the best hummus I have ever had. The chicken and rice are such a healthy and delicious combination that is not heavy. Many other establishments use too much oil that it can feel too much. Honestly, the portions delivered are enormous. I am having trouble finishing it. Not one aspect is not overflowing. May God bless your restaurant!“
