I just found this Happy Hour M-F 2-5:30
We got here 3:15 on a Thursday, totally chill, parked right out front.
Great spot for half day hookie. Nooner or sooner. ))
We had: bloody mary's, the burger is excellant, salmon dip is very tasty, the fried pickles are spears & lightly breaded. Moving on to the spicy margarita & ranch water.
The patio seating in the afternoon is shaded by the building.
I'll be back.“

“We were there to celebrate a birthday. The food was good. We had a great waiter. I can't remember his name but he served us well. My only disappointment was the lobster flight. The ratio of lobster to bread was horrible. We couldn't taste the lobster for all the bread. Loved the mocktails though. Overall my daughter enjoyed her birthday dinner.“

“The best restaurant I've been to in Midtown Detroit. A must visit if you are in Detroit. Not your traditional Mexican restaurant. Upscale with some very eclectic dishes that are absolutely delicious. Words can't describe it, you must go and experience my hometown.

It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “My husband and i came for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday (today) to a SLAMMED restaurant. Only one man seemed to be working the floor, which we found out later was the GM, Pudge. He was OUTSTANDING! He was cleaning tables, seating people, taking orders, delivering orders, prebussing tables, making drinks from the bar, THE WHOLE DEAL. On top of that he made time to stop by the table NUMEROUS times to make sure our experience was amazing, which it was. My husband loved his seafood boil and my chicken tenders were great! “My son is so picky, yet he ate the chicken tender and fries, he loved it and finished his plate. The fish was soo good. when the guy knew that we are traveling he packed the Hummus in a bag of ice to keep it cool. Sarah was sooo helpful and nice. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. My girl Z will ALWAYS take good care of you and makes you feel like she loves her job and loves being your server. She charms my nana every time and I’m forever grateful for staff that has the patience to entertain her. She even brought out a dessert for her and threw in some sparkles in her drink just to make her feel so loved and special during her birthday. Above and beyond. She’s the BEST.“

“Fred's has established themselves as the fsh kings in me and my family eyes.

I really don't know or understand what's going on with the fish market these days, but the fish from other establishments I have frequented, are bad pieces of fish to sell to the market.

I won't name the establishment, but they serve fish for profits only. The quality of the fish is subpar at best .

Fred's has consistently served fresh flavorful fish, with choice pieces that were selected for satisfaction and to cure the hunger of their customers.

“Was my first time in Churchill’s yesterday, 03/28. Had no idea what to expect, never understood the purpose of the cigar. With that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was great, the old fashioned was amazing and that cigar…now I get it!! So relaxing, great atmosphere and with a great tour guide who was also celebrating his birthday. That’s where he wanted to go, I’m sure glad he did!!! Highly recommend!“

“Delicious and authentic Polish food, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Many choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed Polish rosół (chicken noodle soup), which was absolutely amazing! Also, pork chops with mashed potatoes and coleslaw were delicious. It all definitely hit the spot. Furthermore, they have Polish beer and other drinks to complete the meal. Best Polish Food around!“

“Here at Byblos for the second time. Byblos serves authentic Lebanese food. Let me begin by saying that the owner is such an awesome guy. I came to the establishment on Sunday when they are actually closed and they still served me a wonderful beef sandwhich. The beef is seasoned very well and it is amazing. So amazing, I had to come back for more. On my second visit, they exceed all expectations with a beautiful chicken and rice platter with salad, hummus, and pita bread. I have had a lot of Mediterranean dishes and Persian dishes in my lifetime to say that Byblos by far has the best hummus I have ever had. The chicken and rice are such a healthy and delicious combination that is not heavy. Many other establishments use too much oil that it can feel too much. Honestly, the portions delivered are enormous. I am having trouble finishing it. Not one aspect is not overflowing. May God bless your restaurant!“

“Food was hot and fresh. We ordered the perch dinner, gizzards, kool-aid, and mozzarella sticks. We called the order in, I waited about 6 minutes for my food. This is my new place to go. Don't change. Prices are very fair. Thank you 🙏“
