FOR THE WISE Reviews
Amazing food and very kind waitress
We had dinner this evening and the experience was absolutely awesome! The service provided by Tim was exceptional and the food was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. We dined at Beppe last Saturday and it's obvious that For the Wise is a sister restaurant yet it has its own personality. This restaurant is sure to become a favorite in Royal Oak.
Absolutely loved this bar. Went here one evening while visiting a friend and loved it so much we went back two nights later. The cocktails were unique and they had some standout food like shrimp cocktail with adobo sauce and some of the best pita bread I’ve had in my life paired with a great white bean dip with garlic confit. The design of the place was a highlight. I loved the chrome details throughout and the moodiness of the bar itself. Service was super friendly. Definitely...read full review

FOR THE WISE is a restaurant in Royal Oak that has quickly become a favorite. The experience is described as absolutely awesome, with exceptional service and food that is one of the best dining experiences in a long time. The restaurant is a sister restaurant to Beppe yet has its own personality. The atmosphere is great, with music at a volume that allows for normal conversation. The design is a highlight, with chrome details throughout and a moody bar. Service is super friendly, fast, and attentive, with helpful and professional suggestions on what to order. The drink menu is well curated with exciting choices, and the cocktails are unique and good-to-great, with the Sorrel Punch being absolutely delicious. Standout food includes shrimp cocktail with adobo sauce, pita bread paired with a great white bean dip with garlic confit, truffle & cheese bread, veggie burger, and lava cake. The skewers were a bit bland, and the desserts were alright. Some food felt a bit overpriced. The place is good for a small group of friends or a date, but likely not a place to get rowdy. It does not take reservations.
