“We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.“

Definitely make a reservation though, they are super busy! The first time we visited I got one of the flatbreads which was amazing. This time I got the gnocchi and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning at least once every season to try out their new menu! My family doesn't drink but I got one of their seasonal mocktails and it was perfect, not too sweet! Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.“

“Didn’t dine in. Food was great, however, restaurant needs to invest in better plastic bags that the seafood boil comes in. They put my food in two bags which was great. However, both bags came a loose at the seam at the bottom of the bag. The juices and liquids came out of the bag into the Styrofoam container. This was a very messy process as I was trying to preserve the juice and somehow tie a knot at the end of the bag in order to pour the juice back into the bag. I was at work and did not have containers to transition the food into. Definitely they need to invest in better bags that don’t bust at the bottom at the seams.“

I was skeptical at best, but they are having a special where if you order two entries for a total of twenty bucks, you get a crock free. So, what the heck! Oh. My. Gosh. They are RIGHT!!! We've had a lot of M&C and this, by far was the best!! They use heavy cream plus different cheeses and the result is *Heaven in a Crock." I'm not kidding. I was assured that every crock is made fresh, individually, and from scratch! It was amazing.So many of their dishes are so delish. My husband loved his kielbasa and kraut. He's also tried their shrimp and sausage stir fry and fish and chips - all were wonderful.
