Fantastic restaurant in the heart of the city in a beautiful, historical building. Ostrea is a trendy, upscale hotspot with a NYC vibe with a creative menu that you cannot find anywhere else in SE Michigan. Dress up and get ready for a great experience
What a wonderful place. the food is incredible!!! Great flavors!! The drinks are fresh and delicious. Showed up for happy hour stayed for dinner. Beautiful fresh oysters and I just cant wait to come back.

From the moment you walk in, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance between upscale and inviting. The decor is effortlessly chic, and the vibe? Impeccable. Their wine list is nothing short of exceptional, thoughtfully curated and dangerously tempting.

Ostrea Seafood is a hidden gem offering fantastic service and a welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member is kind and extremely welcoming, with the hostess being pleasant and the server greeting warmly while answering all questions and making suggestions. One standout is Thomas, who runs the entire bar alone, serving everyone’s drink orders while concerning himself with food delivery; he is a passionate maker of drinks and simply rocks. The food is cooked to perfection, with beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious flavors. Specific meals mentioned include the best crispy broccolini, bbq shrimp, tuna tartar, fresh oysters, lobster roll, and chowder. The bread is amazing, and the lemon drop cocktail is perfect. Everything from the bread service, drinks, entrees, and dessert is top notch. The cocktails are on point, and the ambiance is pleasant. This restaurant shows its true colors during a busy dinner service and does not disappoint. It is one of the best meals and is 100% recommended.
