“Hands down, my absolute FAVORITE BAR in the Detroit Metro area. August the bartender is one of the coolest people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to pour a damn good drink. Be sure to ask August for a shot of Fernet and he'll tell you "It's like 1000 fairies dancing on your tongue!".”

“I kinda liked bumbos, the outdoor space was the real winner, it was really nice that they had the pool table as well. We came here after a wine tasting and stayed until close, I’d say it’s a great spot to go to end your night, grab a little drink, meet up with some friends, play pool and chat on their well lit patio.”

The spinach pie is good but would be better if heated for 20 secs. Cannoli is good but doesn’t go with some alcoholic drinks. Overall — bravo on creating a good place to go for drinks!”

“We hosted a family dinner for ~25 people this weekend in the upstairs room. The food in the buffer was all excellent, way more than our party could finish. Service was great for our cash bar. Atmosphere was great for what we needed. Excellent spot if you're looking to host a shower or baptism luncheon too. We had an individual with food allergies in our party, and the restaurant was helpful in identifying ingredients in our menu selection and offering alternatives. Highly recommend.”

“Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

Overall, it’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food. I’ll definitely be back!”

“My co-worker has shared half of his bacon, egg and cheese croissant with me for months and I fell in love. Today was the first time I visited in person. The cafe is quaint and cozy. I got a London fog, and it was hot and creamy. I love how they have the bottle of simple syrup you can use to sweeten your drink to your likeness. The star of the show is my favorite sandwich, which is so buttery, crispy, smoky and delicious. It's almost criminal how good it is. The staff was friendly, and service was fast and efficient. I discovered today that the Hamtramck location is on my way to work, and I will be stopping in more often. I can't wait to try other things on the menu.”

“It was clean quick shop atmosphere. I had the whole wings combo. The honey garlic sauce was the best I’ve ever had wast the perfect blend of honey and garlic neither flavor was overpowering. What I really have brag about is how greaseless the fries and chicken were. I hate when my food drips with grease so I was very pleased with that. I will definitely return!”

“Located in downtown Hamtramck outside of Detroit,this bakery specializes in Polish and European pastries,breads,cookies,pies and cakes.

Family owned since 1908,this is a genuine old school Polish bakery.

They have a large selection of cookies and pastries all on display. We tried a few of their pastries and cookies. Cookies were just ok but their pastries were amazing. Brought back many childhood memories.

I would love to go back and try one of their famous Paczki since they were already sold out.”

“Detroit is not exactly a hot bed of Late Night food spots (besides Coneys) so I was very happy to find Albasha. I stay up late and it’s been a reliable option when you don’t feel like chili fries for the 100th time.

Their Chicken Shwarma is really good and they customize it for you. I love a lot of garlic and super toasted, and that always gets done. I also get their Fatoosh Salad when I want something a little lighter and it’s really good, especially the chicken quality.

The area around the shop is quite safe, and when you walk in everyone in the shop is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. At 1 AM, I’m not really in the mood to have to earn the respect of the counter person, and you’ll never have any issues here.

I am in Detroit unexpectedly with a family party of 12 people for our father's funeral. we were trying to find a place that could prepare a party tray for that many people on short notice without it costing a fortune. this place was perfect! they happily accommodated our needs for a lot of food, had the order ready in only about 20 minutes, and it was very affordable. not to mention, delicious!! even my very picky children raved about how good their sandwiches were. I could not be happier!”

“This small local cafe is a staple in this community. The service is great and the menu has a nice variety of options. They offer public Wifi and even games that can be played at the tables. I recommend a visted.

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.”

The chicken, rice and veggies were cooked perfect and the seasonings they used were full of flavor. It came with a house salad and bread. The salad dressing was like fattoush. Big portions! The lunch special was 11.99 and does not come with a drink. I'll be back!”

“This spot in Detroit, Michigan is a gem among gems. I had an 8 peice wings and the Nashville chicken sandwich and they were amazing. The wings were very crispy with lots of seasoning same goes for the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was spicy but balanced with sweetness of the coleslaw it was really a great experience.”
