“Nice little family-owned bar in hamtramck me in the wife went and everybody was very friendly they had the Detroit tigers on and the beverages were cold and the service was great if you're in the area Detroit or hamtramck definitely check them“
“It had been 5 years since my last belly up at Bumbos, but I'm glad it's still kicking. A proper bar with a proper pour. Nice staff, laid back atmosphere, good tunes and pet friendly patio. They also have a wide foot rest at the bar which amazingly some bars omit altogether. If I lived in Hamtramck, I would live in “
“I just love Suzy's Bar, especially on FAT TUESDAY. This little bar is a staple in the Hamtramck, a neighborhood Dive Bar. If you are able to make it down for this special day, I would say it is a Bucket List Item for things to experience in Metro Detroit. Last year, I was introduced to this CRAZY DAY and we couldn't wait to do it all over again. Be prepared for cramped spaces and a whole lot of friendly people. We enjoy having a few beers and engaging in the silliness. There are quite a few bars to visit, but Suzy's is one of my favorites. We can't wait for next year.“
“Hands down, my absolute FAVORITE BAR in the Detroit Metro area. August the bartender is one of the coolest people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to pour a damn good drink. Be sure to ask August for a shot of Fernet and he'll tell you "It's like 1000 fairies dancing on your tongue!".“
“Entering the The High Dive is like being transported to the Victorian Era. The cocktail parlor is filled with stained glass, Victorian fixtures and hand crafted wall paper. The owner/bar tender is a world renowned artist who has poured his heart into this establishment and it shows. The cocktails are delicious and they use fresh ingredients. The drinks are also reasonably priced. Most nights The High Dive is supporting local artist and DJ's and has some of the best techno nights. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or checking out one of their events.“
“The owner is wonderful.. my uncle is the owners friend an the owner welcomed our entire family to the bar in order to surprise my uncle with an out of town visit from my aunt an two days worth of visiting with the family.. thanks again for everything“
“I loved this small venue just outside of Detroit! The food was pretty much your basic bar stuff, but they had some pretty cool beer choices. I actually ordered some ice cream nachos just for the experience of it. Loved the bands and the vibe. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was cool.“
“No food menu other than a soup of the day made by the barmaids mother. Whatever she feels like cooking, the day we visited is split pea, and not a fan of peas, this was loaded with chunks of ham and potatoes. Very stick to your ribs soup. A shot and a beer rounded out the “meal” the bartender was super friendly even had us sign her up”out of towners” book as we were from Alabama. When you search dive bar this is a go too place. Don’t let the doorbell deter you, or the seedy neighborhood. Stop in and see the “Oldest Bar in Detroit”“
“Was in the area for a service and a large group of us headed over here after. Played a few games of pool and enjoyed a few mix drinks, bottled beer and draft. All were really good. Service was quick. atmosphere was nice. Seemed more like a local fun hangout then a ritzy place. And I mean that in a great way. We all felt welcome even with a larger group.“
“Beautiful odds and ends for the decor inside, I love its rugged look, but it's still very clean. I went on suggestion for the Tuesday night open deck to play a couple of my vinyls. It was my first time being a DJ, I had such a fun time! I had a couple Angry Orchards and the bar tender was lovely and very patient~♡“
“Legendary neighborhood bar, great picture of vanishing way of life. Plenty of space for welcoming a tour bus, plenty of intimacy to relax for a couple of hours. We visited the cigar room which has some amazing artifacts of century+ of its existence. No food but up to date drink menu, including NA beers and liquor.“
“Lenny's is a new bar on Mack, not far from Apt Disco. It was a bar previously so long-time residents will remember that. It's a good mix of dive, craft cocktails, and sports bar. They have TVs for the games and a pool table and darts maybe? Probably...I really like the craft cocktail menu that is mostly classics and around $8 to $10. Citadelle gin is their house gin so they are already tops in my book. I've tried the French 75, Daquari, and Airmail, all delicious. You can definitely get easy drinks like a gin and tonic or rum and coke too. Their house rum is Plantation, another good sign. They do have hard seltzers there but I think it's White Claw and not Topo Chico which seems to be the preferred brand in my demographic. And naturally, a variety of local and mainstream beers across all price points.Check their social media to see what games are playing and who is working the bar and if there are any specials running. They've only been open a couple weeks and it's fast becoming my before and after spot. Cheers!“
“This is my favorite dive bar of all time. The only negative is that it's a VERY small place, but that adds to the character. Knowledgeable and friendly bar service, great selection of music, incredible prices. You gotta be there on a Saturday night.“
“Ye Olde Saloon is the PERFECT place for someone that just wants a chilled bar with awesome people! It's the perfect bar...pool,shuffleboard , darts... It's the perfect vibe:)I've also taken a date there and she loved it!I go here very often and I'm very happy every time I go!And they're OPEN TILL 2AMParking: Usually space!“
