Stopped by this hold over from Detroit's heyday. Located on a stretch of Michigan Ave. littered with strip clubs and gas stations, this place must have been happening during the Tigers' World Series run in the 80's. Long bar to the left, several tables strewn with poker chips and newspapers from what appeared to be several years to the right, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the warm welcome from the pleasant bartender who aptly presented me a two dollar Budweiser bottle. This place was amazing, the owner Mr. Bob, great guy, and cooks a mean steak. Best flavor I've had in a while. The bartender was an honest , sweet lady. Even tried to overpay, she did me right...gave my money back... Whats that say in Detroit...
