“What a great little gem. The food was amazing. Started with the chicken somosas with the green sauce.. fantastic the green sauce has a wonderful flavor and nice little kick. We got the butter chicken and the beef kala buna very yummy. The waitress was amazing very helpful with order and even given me a try on the amazing sweet treats they had there. Definitely a place to check out.“

We started with meat samosas- beautifully presented and delicious. We also enjoyed the butter chicken and naan. The butter chicken was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten… flavorful (we went mild+) and comforting. Even their naan was excellent. We ended our meal with a fresh, delicious mango smoothie. Our group (8-10 people) has been going to Main Street Kitchen on a monthly basis since 2019, and we have NEVER had a bad experience. Mih, Ifa and Shar go out of their way to make every visit pleasant. They are happy to recommend dishes for diners who are not familiar with Indian food varieties, and they will do customizations as requested. Highly recommended!!“

“I ordered from the place for the first time. The food was really good and tasted the way those dishes were supposed to. I really liked the atmosphere as well. Nice place to sit down and eat. Good to see a fusion restaurant in warren.I see some people complaining that the chicken was dry but to tell you the truth that's an issue with a lot of Mediterranean restaurants I have been to, even the really fancy ones. Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done.They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.“

A family-run operation with a mix of Indian, Lebanese and U.S. American options. Servers are kind and attentive. I special-orderd chicken-curry atop a salad (to avoid the carbs in rice) and loved it. Nothing fancy, but an excellent place for a good, quick lunch.“

Normally the food is good if it’s fresh. However, I had multiple experiences where the food was either cooked earlier, but by the time I purchase it, it’s already too dried and shouldn’t be sold. For example, chicken 65 gets really dried up in few hours and either the prices for it should be lowered at that point or let customers know that it will be dried. I had similar experience with fried chicken few times. A customer is paying for the food and it’s better to have them as a repeated customer than making couple of dollars from bad food.“

“Clean restaurant, clean bathroom, clean kitchen. Host was really nice and accommodating! My dad wanted warm drinking water and he provided that as well. We had chicken jalfrezi, white rice, naan and chicken shikh kabab. The jalfrezi was great, it’s a tomato based stir fry, very tasty. Naan was soft and fluffy. This is my second time here and both times the experience has been great, food quality, price, service! Also, their menu is not cluttered and well understood.“

“I recently came back after 13 years with my family, and I was honestly surprised in the best way. The taste is still exactly the same. That same flavor I remembered was still there. It felt like nothing had changed.
I was especially curious to see how my 6-year-old son would react since he usually doesn’t enjoy Indian food much. But he loved it and even finished the whole plate. That says a lot.
I do miss the simple salad they used to serve with ranch, it paired perfectly with the biryani. I had to ask for it this time, but it still brought back that same experience.
This place is a hidden gem in Windsor. If you’re looking for great biryani, especially as a student or someone missing home-style Indian food, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back again“
