10 Best Indian Restaurants in Ann Arbor

“My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Ash Wednesday for a vegetarian meal. She ordered a dosa and I ordered mattar paneer with naan and rice. The dosa was huge! We really enjoyed the food, it was good. The lady serving us was very friendly and nice, I believe her name is Pricilla. We will go back again and try some non vegetarian food.

The food came out very quickly after ordering. I don’t have any complaints about this place.“

“We are frequent visitors of the Packard location, even before, when it was at Menyard st, downtown. We love you guys!
However: when ordering takeout: When we order the mild it lacks the flavor punch. But when we order medium it’s on the border of what we can handle heat-spice wise. When ordering takeout there is no other option. And putting it in the comments is hit-or-miss. Would be good if medium actually worked for flavor and a nice bit of heat, that is not on the uncomfortable edge.“

“I LOVE this place, I order off of lunch menu almost weekly. Check it out if you are in the area. Poutine and AA roles are both on lunch menu and will change your world.“

“Such a welcoming environment and amazing food! The cheesecake is a must! Also, the host, I believe his name was Hector, was incredibly charming and funny. I highly recommend!“

“They have lunch buffet all week with weekdays being the cheapest at 14.99, then saturday 15.99 and then sunday special lunch buffet being the most expensive at 17.99. I went to the saturday buffet and it was delicious! Tikka masala and gobi 65 was very good and fresh. Would recommend for the price, but the atmosphere and restaurant is a little old, and has not as much variety as I would've liked.“

“A few years ago I searched on Google for "highest rated restaurant near me" and Everest ranked #1. I've eaten there for my birthday celebration meal, and at other times, in the five or six years since. It's rare to find great food, great service, and at a great price in the post-Covid era. In my experience Everest is the best of these combined categories in the Ann Arbor to Dearborn corridor along I-94. No where else that I've eaten since moving back to the area in 2011 comes close.“

“I've never been treated so rude. 1 of the 2 men working COMPLETELY ignored me and took the white guy's order behind me. Only after seating him did he barely acknowledge me and ask if I was Doordash or what I ordered. Mine was online, I drove 20 min out to get there and it still took another 20 min to get my food. I will never spend money here or any other Indian restaurant again. They've ruined it for me. You're just as brown as me and treated me so poorly. Shame on Namaste. I wish I could give it a 0.“
