“The food was so good as always, we had the butter chicken and garlic cheesy naan, and our waitress recommended getting the spinach cheese samosas instead of the potatoe ones we usually get, they were so good, going to start ordering them from now on ???.Update: we decided to try the Ramadan haleem . It was so good, wasn't expecting it to be goat but still super delicious.“
“I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. Went in with my mother for lunch and tried the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and the saag paneer. The butter chicken was very tasty and had the right amount of spice for a medium plus. The saag paneer had sooo much flavor, it was some of the best that I have had in Michigan. I didn’t really like the samosas as they seem different than what I expected and were more like eggroll wrapped triangles which threw off the texture. The service was amazing, and we even found out that it is a family business with a very kind husband and wife who made us feel very welcome. Will be back again!Dietary restrictions: Halal food!“
“The food here tastes amazing ?Best haleem one could get in Michigan ?Garlic naan is my favorite here ?Chicken 555 and Mirpakaya kodi in starters are a hit ? Vijaywada chicken biryani was great ? thanks to chef for yummy food ?Service was good ?“
“We came to Ferndale for some bagels, but while parking we smelt the amazing smells of Indian cuisine. We instantly changed our minds and l’m so happy we did. The service was immaculate and the food was spectacular. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend the lamb tikka masala & garlic naan! So scrumptious!“
“I never write reviews but I thought this place deserved one. Flavors are impressive for being made in such a small space. Shiv is the nicest guy ever and so passionate about his food. first meal in Detroit on business trip, set a high standard!“
“Ordered tea and falooda.. accidentally mentioned paan falooda instead of dry fruit one. I called regarding this concern, the guy who picked up the call is amazing. He changed it right away for me. Must say great customer service and the taste of the food is awesome. Thank you?“
“"Absolutely loved my dining experience at this newly renovated restaurant! The atmosphere was fantastic for a cozy dinner, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were attentive and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning!"“
“The two young ladies working the front and running food were super helpful, but I forget their names. We ordered a chana masala and an aloo gobi there that were done perfectly. I can be a difficult customer as a vegan, but they knew what all could be done without ghee or paneer and let me know the roti could be done vegan and the rice was safe, but I should avoid the naan.We ordered two entrees and both got stuffed and still had leftovers, so the portion sizes are great. Will be returning next time I'm hungry around downtown. Also, nice views from the front window with some great people watching.Dietary restrictions: I'm vegan and they had a lot of options and knew what all could be done without ghee or paneer.“
“This is the best place if you are looking for Indian paranthas. Aaloo and gobhi parantha were delicious. We have tasted the best dudh patti ever after India. Thank you PRABHJOT for the excellent customer service. Will revisit the place for sure. “

“This place is awesome. Amazing food, great service and the staff was very welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out. I ordered Chicken tikka and lentils soup, my husband ordered chicken soup, they were absolutely delicious, I would say best Indian food taste in Michigan.“
“I’m gonna be truly honest here, I want to start up with the service and how not only professional, but very kind, generous and excellent at hosting.Secondly, I want to add that we got a huge portion of our orders And the food was amazing! Keep in mind we went there late. The server even gave us free sweets to try and appetizers Along with some amazing tea at no charge because it was our first time ! I am Middle Eastern and I know food so let’s just say I’m a foodieIf you want to go somewhere very affordable, chill vibe and try great authentic Bangladesh food, then come here! We had the butter chicken with white rice and naan Which they did not charge us for the naan as well, Let me just say that was the best naan I ever had extremely crispy, moist and don’t get me started on the shrimp fried rice. I am very picky and I’m a seafood eater mostly because I’m a Pescatarian so that would be a 10 out of 10 for me. I wish I had taken more photos but I definitely have to write this review because this was one of the best places to eat in Hamtramck/Detroit! Oh and all the food & everything only costed 26 DOLLARS!!!!!!!! Must try ???“
“Had an amazing experience at Charminar Express,I had their butter chicken, pakora..Was soo good.. Their service are very friendly.. Mainly the girl has really good patients, I asked a lot questions but she suggested the best thing. She explained all off the food items with different quality style. Also their environment is really very good. Highly recommend for anyone. Will be back ..?“
“Very lovely staff here and the food was great. Best fries and samosas! ? I would recommend this place to anyone looking for food near the Majestic Theatre.Vegetarian options: Several vegan options including samosas, Chana masala, noodles, and falafel pita wrap“
“Myself and my husband were travelling from Point pele to London and almost all the Indian restaurants were closed around 10pm. Luckily, we found this restaurant so randomly through google search & reviews and this restaurant was open until 2am. Firstly, we loved the ambience of the restaurant so much. We don’t remember who served us last night but she did a good job. We ordered ghee roasted chicken briyani, tandoori, prawn gravy and butter naan. Everything was so tasty & light. We had such a good experience that we decided to come once again for breakfast the next morning. OMGGG! We consider ourselves lucky for visiting again. Ms. Gayathri helped us in taking orders. With her suggestion, we ordered Podi idly, ghee podi dosa, poori masala and bonda. She was very polite and pleasing throughout. Lots of love to the chef ❤️ Starting from flavour to presentation everything was top notch. Everything about this restaurant was just perfect. I will visit Windsor once again just for this restaurant.“
“Everything we had here was incredible: beef curry noodles, butter chicken over fries, pork belly with bok choy. All of it was great. There's a a bar upstairs with mostly beer, but also some wine, cider, and whiskey options. Then above that is rooftop seating that overlooks Easter Market.I'll definite back here.“
“This place excells at making pasta comfort food. Concise/relatively small menu means that what they DO serve is of good quality. Plus any meat is halal. Not much space however, and the garbage bin could be better positioned (not tucked away in a corner by the cash registers), but it's fine.“
“Great, inexpensive food in the basement of the International Institute, adjacent to the Detroit Institute of Arts and the College for Creative Studies. A family-run operation with a mix of Indian, Lebanese and U.S. American options. Servers are kind and attentive. I special-orderd chicken-curry atop a salad (to avoid the carbs in rice) and loved it. Nothing fancy, but an excellent place for a good, quick lunch.“
“Visited midnight temple on a Ramadan evening. We broke our fast and our server provided a space for us to pray. One of our favorite dishes was the Manchurian (cauliflower) very flavorful and delicious! Definitely a must have. I also ordered spicy chicken vindaloo. When I received the vindaloo, it was a thin consistency and not very spicy. I informed the server, he did not hesitate to make it right. When my vindaloo returned, it was incredible. The consistency was thicker and spicy, exactly the way I like. They were so nice and made sure we were all happy with our dishes. Very, very happy with the customer service, the willingness to accommodate our religious needs, the atmosphere and the delicious food. Thank you for the amazing service! We will be back!“
“My visit to Chilli Bliss was nothing short of delightful. The combination of delectable food, exceptional service, and pristine cleanliness created a dining experience that exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Chilli Bliss to anyone looking for a culinary adventure that satisfies both the palate and the soul. The staff at Chili Bliss are friendly and attentive, making sure that every guest feels welcome and taken care of. They are knowledgeable about the menu and can make recommendations based on your preferences.“
“I really enjoyed the food here. A generous portion of perfect rice and tender goat in the biryani, perfectly 'hot' for my tender palate... really delicious.Service was friendly and Swetha made a good recommendation for a patron that didn't have intimate knowledge of the cuisine. No alcohol offered nor served.A great place to try out. Recommended.“
“This was my first time at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely exquisite! I ordered; butter chicken mild with rice, chicken 65 mild with rice, garlic and cheese naan bread, and kulfi. The customer service was exemplary! I most certainly will be a returning customer. Thank you for an amazing experience.“

“It’s really amazing halal bangladeshi food with excellent service,i went there yesterday and i ordered two paratha and one naan with chicken curry and two cups tea, specifically chicken curry and behave from white hijabi girl was really fantastic and amazing, i hope see again?“
“Excellent experience with fantastic, attentive staff! The food was delicious with large portions that feel perfect for sharing with the table. Everyone in my party brought back at least one meal's worth of leftovers (we each ordered on entrée that came with rice). Highly recommended! As a heads up, you will find parking behind the building & you have to ender the building from the rear to go into the restaurant.Vegetarian options: The menu has a massive selection of vegetarian dishes & appetizers! While Indian restaurants typically have an abundance of vegetarian options, it is still appreciated.Parking: There is a parking lot by the restaurant. Years ago I remember there being paid parking lots everywhere in the area but now it doesn't seem to be a prevalent? I will take it as a win!Wheelchair accessibility: Appears fairly wheelchair accessible without any obvious steps. I did not notice automatic doors & I did not enter the restroom.“
