“Great, inexpensive food in the basement of the International Institute, adjacent to the Detroit Institute of Arts and the College for Creative Studies. A family-run operation with a mix of Indian, Lebanese and U.S. American options. Servers are kind and attentive. I special-orderd chicken-curry atop a salad (to avoid the carbs in rice) and loved it. Nothing fancy, but an excellent place for a good, quick lunch.“

However, there are times when the food has an unpleasant smell. Hygiene is also very important, so please ensure that the cooking pots are thoroughly cleaned and kept separate from those used for fish dishes. But they are very hospitable and probably the best I’ve had in Michigan.“

“I had a great experience dining at Athidi tonight. It’s one of the best Indian Restraunts in windsor. Tried dosa , malabari mutton curry , butter chicken and ghee roast biryani!! The flavours are incredible, and the spice level is perfect (you'll feel the heat, but it's definitely tolerable). Also, not too oily at all! Prices are reasonable. The mutton biriyani was a particularly big hit with plenty of delicious, boneless lamb in the rice. I highly recommend Biriyani & Grill the next time you're craving some delicious Pakistani eats!“

“Clean restaurant, clean bathroom, clean kitchen. Host was really nice and accommodating! My dad wanted warm drinking water and he provided that as well. We had chicken jalfrezi, white rice, naan and chicken shikh kabab. The jalfrezi was great, it’s a tomato based stir fry, very tasty. Naan was soft and fluffy. This is my second time here and both times the experience has been great, food quality, price, service! Also, their menu is not cluttered and well understood.“

We ordered Samosa chat and Bhel Puri with Masala tea and Mango lassi.
We tucked into the delicious snacks and finished off with our drinks.
The flavours and spice mix were perfect. If in the area do go the try out for yourself.
