“Omg what a hidden gem! We stopped here on a whim and I am so glad we did. The service is great but the food…holy bananas…it’s PHENOMENAL. I can’t say enough about the food. It’s delicious and the portions are huge. We will definitely be back!!“
“The buffet was so impressive. Butter chicken was 10/10. Naan was pretty good. I liked pretty much everything that they served. Not the best mango lassi I've ever had, honestly could've used more cardamom. My only suggestion is give us a bowl of cilantro to garnish our food! Still, this is the best indian food I've had in my life and I'll be telling everybody I know to make the 1 hour drive I did.“
“This was my first time at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely exquisite! I ordered; butter chicken mild with rice, chicken 65 mild with rice, garlic and cheese naan bread, and kulfi. The customer service was exemplary! I most certainly will be a returning customer. Thank you for an amazing experience.“

“As a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, I've had my fair share of chicken biryanis, but none quite like the one I found in Michigan. Nestled in the heart of the state, this hidden gem of a restaurant delivers an authentic and tantalizing experience that left my taste buds begging for more. The chicken biryani here is a masterpiece of flavors and textures. Each bite is a harmonious blend of tender chicken pieces, fragrant basmati rice infused with aromatic spices, and perfectly balanced seasoning. The dish is generously garnished with caramelized onions, fresh coriander, and crispy fried shallots, adding layers of complexity to every mouthful. What sets this biryani apart is the meticulous attention to detail in its preparation. The chicken is marinated to perfection, ensuring that it's succulent and bursting with flavor. The rice is cooked to the ideal consistency, neither too mushy nor too firm, allowing it to absorb the essence of the spices without losing its individual grains. One of the highlights of this biryani is the symphony of spices that dance on your palate with each bite. From the warm notes of cinnamon and cardamom to the subtle heat of cloves and peppercorns, every spice is discernible yet harmoniously balanced. It's a culinary journey that takes you straight to the streets of Hyderabad or Lucknow, where biryani is not just a dish but a cultural icon. The portion size is generous, making it perfect for sharing or indulging in a satisfying meal all to yourself. Paired with a side of cooling raita and tangy mango chutney, it's a feast fit for a king.In conclusion, if you find yourself in Michigan craving authentic Indian cuisine, look no further than this restaurant for a truly unforgettable chicken biryani experience. Whether you're a seasoned biryani enthusiast or a newcomer to Indian flavors, this dish is sure to leave a lasting impression. Bon appétit!“
“The staff was great. My sister and I loved everything that we ordered. The hummus was perfect with the bread it is served with. We got a couple strawberry smoothies that were so fresh. The meal was so fresh with quality ingredients. My sister and I are still talking about our meals days later. The garlic sauce paired great with our meals. My sister got the cubes beef kabobs and I got fahsah chicken. They also have a kid friendly menu we got my niece chicken nuggets and fries. Will definitely be returning.Parking: Plenty of free parking around the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu is clear on the first inside panel of the menu.“
“Just tried out this place. We were in a large group that ordered several types of chai and different food items, and everything was wow! Hands down, best chai I've had in Michigan. I especially liked the Karak Chai and Amore Chai, but all of the different chai varieties at the table were amazing. My family is South Asian so I grew up as a bit of a chai snob, but this place thoroughly impressed me. Their homemade paratha wraps and sandwiches were super yummy. Seating was ample, both indoors and outdoors, and the whole restaurant had a vibrant and chic vibe. Place was very clean. This is a family owned restaurant and the thing I thought was especially stand-out was that several of the family-members were there even though we went really late on a Sunday. Owners stopped by several times to make sure our group was happy. If your only experience with chai is at Starbucks or Biggby, I really recommend taking in Cups N Chai's extremely welcoming environment with your family or friends while broadening your horizons with one of their wonderful pots of chai.“
“Visited this restaurant multiple times, and I can say it is the best place to go if you are craving South Indian food. They have a variety of options for both veg and non-veg South Indian dishes. Some of their must-tries that I would suggest are the Chettinad chicken dosa, medu vada, and Pomfret Tawa fry. The medu vada was soft, crispy, and very tasty. The masala in the Pomfret fry was authentic, and the fish tasted fresh. Also tried their goat biriyani, which was delicious. They did adjust the spice level as requested. The service was good, and the place was neat and clean. I would love to visit this place again and again.“
“Excellent experience with fantastic, attentive staff! The food was delicious with large portions that feel perfect for sharing with the table. Everyone in my party brought back at least one meal's worth of leftovers (we each ordered on entrée that came with rice). Highly recommended! As a heads up, you will find parking behind the building & you have to ender the building from the rear to go into the restaurant.Vegetarian options: The menu has a massive selection of vegetarian dishes & appetizers! While Indian restaurants typically have an abundance of vegetarian options, it is still appreciated.Parking: There is a parking lot by the restaurant. Years ago I remember there being paid parking lots everywhere in the area but now it doesn't seem to be a prevalent? I will take it as a win!Wheelchair accessibility: Appears fairly wheelchair accessible without any obvious steps. I did not notice automatic doors & I did not enter the restroom.“
“The food was so good as always, we had the butter chicken and garlic cheesy naan, and our waitress recommended getting the spinach cheese samosas instead of the potatoe ones we usually get, they were so good, going to start ordering them from now on ???.Update: we decided to try the Ramadan haleem . It was so good, wasn't expecting it to be goat but still super delicious.“
“What a fantastic meal!! I mean top-notch! From the delicious tandoori wings to each and every slice of pizza ordered, my family and I were pleased. I honestly loved the food. The service was quick and accurate, so there were no complaints there. The staff were super nice and very welcoming. I was only in the parlor for a hot second, but it was nicely laid out for a small space and very inviting.A little on the food: We started off with Tandoori wings (5pc) and veggie puffs for an appetizer. Both were excellent. The wings had that great tandoori flavor and were cooked excellently. As for the veggies puffs, we loved them. That said, I wish that the parlor offered a mint or tamarind side sauce. Please consider it! ? Still, they were great without. As for the pizzas, we ordered three different kinds, and all were amazing. I can't tell you if one stood out over the others, as all of them brought something to the meal. Whether it was the spiciness of the stage chicken, the zing of the chili paneer, or the subtleties of the vegetarian korma, we enjoyed them all. I, for one, cannot wait to order again. Will be back and have already recommended it to others at work.Think about a side mint or brown sauce!Vegetarian options: Tons of options. Vegan too.Parking: Plenty of parking. It is located inside a strip mall.“
“Our dinner party of 4 had a lovely dinner here. We had received a warm greetings and meticulous service! Our waiter helped us to make choices based on tastes and heat Tolerance. The food was delicious and I greatly appreciated that they made me the perfect, hot cup Of Cardamom tea! I would definitely come back!“
“Every item we ate was amazing. Especially the "Margh" and "Haleem" were authentic Hyderabadi. Friendly staff and clean environment. Very good customer service. The waiter was telling us about the buffet, so we'll try it sometime, God willing. If you want a taste of authentic Hyderabadi food, don't miss it.“
“I really want to give Raja Rani 5 stars but am so frustrated with their website that I’m tempted to give one star. Our food was outstanding but I caution you to not use the Online Ordering tab on their website. Unbeknownst to me and with no notification, when I clicked the online order tab on the website I entered my order on DoorDash. There was nothing on the page to indicate DoorDash. When we picked up the order we were told it had been placed via Door Dash. The prices were ridiculously inflated. An example: $3.99 for an order of raitha instead of $1.99 as listed on their menu. Each entree was at least $5 more. All told we spent an additional $25 above and beyond menu prices. So frustrating and disappointing.. Please fix your website!!“
“This place is awesome. Amazing food, great service and the staff was very welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out. I ordered Chicken tikka and lentils soup, my husband ordered chicken soup, they were absolutely delicious, I would say best Indian food taste in Michigan.“
“Wow, what a treat to my taste buds! This was a last-minute idea after someone (me) forgot to have anything ready for dinner. Scambling for an idea I remembered a friend from work had suggested this place. I am so glad she did. From the moment we entered the time we left, we enjoyed every bit of it. Still fairly new to Indian cuisine, we took suggestions from the store manager. Let me tell you, he did not do us wrong. Every dish was wonderful in flavor and ready so promptly that we we r nearly overwhelmed. I say nearly as we managed to eat each and every last bit on the table.I can not describe each dish in depth because we had so much, and it was all so very different. I dare say that the Veggie Manchurian was the collective "best" dish, but it was all very close. So many distinct flavors and spices blended together equally in our full bellies! It was great. It's totally worth the small drive. I may have to forget to have something ready for dinner more often, lol. Will recommend it. Will be back. 100%Vegetarian options: Amazing place for vegan and vegetarian alike. Tons of choices and absolutely delicious. This is coming from a person who is an omnivore. Check this place out.“
“Ordered half tray biryani for pick up, and I must say, the taste was on point. The quality of the ingredients was evident, contributing to the richness and depth of the dish. The spices were perfectly balanced, adding complexity without overwhelming the palate. However, the aftermath wasn't as pleasant - dealt with some heartburn later on.On the upside, the place was spotless, and the service was quick and efficient. The efficiency of the service was commendable, with my pick-up order prepared and ready right on time.Overall, A decent spot for a flavorful meal, but watch out for the heartburn. Just be mindful of potential digestive issues, and you're in for a truly memorable dining experience.“
“It's a crime to have such a delicious place right next to the gym ?.You step out of the car, and the aromas just hit you like a truck. My go-to is always their lamb seekh kebab; unless I'm feeling something different, which also doesn't disappoint. They don't have seating, only take-out, so do beat that in mind, and don't let that discouraged you either. Absolutely worth a try“
“Literally some of the best Indian food I've had, and that includes several trips to London where I thought it would get no better outside of going to India. The Naan was perfectly thick while still feeling like Naan, and the butter chicken was to die for. The appetizer, chicken 65 something, was different and excellent.“
“Was here for breakfast buffet on SaturdayJust made my taste buds happyThe best South Indian bf around novi and farmingtonThey had idli, uttappa, mysore bonda, medhu vada, poori and pongalAll good and at a fair price.Definitely my weekend getaway now.“
“First time coming here after seeing Mr. ChimeTime video about the pizzas here I wanted to try it. The place is small so no room to dine in the wait wasn't long I believe I waited about 15 minutes or less. The man running the front counter was nice and I appreciate him pouring the masala chai tea for me since I never been here before I didn't know what to do ?. As I sipped my tea I observed how busy it can be and the guy in front was working hard. Taking order, answering the phone, putting the orders together etc.The gentleman in the black shirt that came out from the back I guess he was the manager. Pointed out the phone wasn't hung up properly to the man running the front counter. At a glance you can tell he was busy and the amount of time it took to point that out I felt the man in the black shirt should of hung up the phone for him that was the only thing that didn't sit right with me while I waited for my food.Besides the tea I ordered the chicken Tikka pizza. It was interesting and the flavors were good. I would definitely order it again and try something else from their menu when I feel like making the trek out that way since it's about 40 minutes away from me ?Parking: The parking lot is not that big. So certain times of day i can see an issue trying to obtain parking.“
“This place is amazing. If you’re looking for a good Indian restaurant look no further. They made me a dish that made my taste buds melt. You could tell he really puts a lot of love and passion into his food and I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a diamond in the rough.“
“I went to Pakwaan for lunch today and was happy to see they had a lunch buffet. I love being able to graze across a range of Indian dishes, and the buffet allowed me to do just that. There was a wide assortment available with all of my favorites included (tandoori chicken, butter chicken, naan, paneer masala, and much more). The spicy noodles were amazing with just enough flavorful heat to light up your taste buds but not so much that you're in pain. There was even a delicious mango dessert. The price was what you'd pay anywhere in Plymouth for lunch, if not a little less, and the assorment was amazing. We were seated quickly, hit the buffet, and were easily back to work on time. If you enjoy the variety offered by a fresh Indian buffet, definitely check them out for lunch. If you have something particular in mind, check out their menu. Highly recommended!“
“The two owners/employees were excellent with service, they were great talking to and getting to know. Every bit of the food was amazing, I enjoyed my experience with them. Definitely would come back again soon to try something else from the menu!!Parking: In a mall so plenty of mall parking spots and parking garage next door“
