“I took my girlfriend to The Avenue Brunch House on Michigan Ave in Dearborn to celebrate her birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!“

One thing I’ve seen a lot on TV and in movies is chicken katsu. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the staff. The head chef and owner is Japanese-American, the sous chefs are Latino-American, and the hostess was a nice young Indian-American lady. This kind of diversity is the beauty of newer mom and pop stores. To see this makes me feel welcome and right at home. The lovely sister who tended to my order Ms. Ria was so kind I made sure to leave her a tip😊 and I told her thanks. The interior had traditional Japanese decorations and beautiful works of art both inside and outside the store. The feeling was lovely all of the way around. Zaytoona Mediterranean in Dearborn Michigan This is some of the best Lebanese-American food I've had thus far. After many days and nights of eating great home-cooked Halal Chicken I bought with my EBT card I got to eat some Lamb Kofta. This Lamb Kofta was roasted to perfection and tasted excellent. The restaurant was gorgeous, and the interior design was beautiful, too. The tables had what I believe is a type of polished granite that was really, really beautiful. I had lentil soup yesterday and it tasted really really good. The biscuits were chewy and goey and that was delicious. This place was truly an unforgettable experience. This is definitely a beautiful place to go to with family if anyone is looking for a nice, affordable yet fine dining experience. #lebanese #arab #middleeastern #dearborn #trending“

“First time at Sams coffee the food was beautiful. We had the streaky bacon brioche with scrambled eggs, cheddar and fresh chives, every mouth full was so tasty the bacon was crispy, not greasy it was light it actually reminded me of bacon frazzle crisps it was that light. The scrambled eggs were so light and fluffy perfectly paired with the toasted brioche bun. To drink I had a chemex coffee using a Kenyon blend it was fruity and full of flavor. Then to finish a flat white which was beautiful. I highly recommended Sams Coffee we will be back very soon“

The place was nice and everybody enjoyed the food from appetizer (Humus) and the signature dishes (Fahsah and the grilled platter Lamb Haneeth). We loved it! I'd go back just for the loaded seafood fries though - those were super delicious, had a good amount of whole fried shrimp perfectly cooked, and yummy toppings for $8.50. Yes, please. We also ordered both of the lobster sandwiches - the lobster roll and the lobster BLT - both tasted good; my lobster was the slightest bit overcooked but plentiful, but the sandwiches themselves are mini. Like, half the size of a regular bun. $25? I wouldn't do that again. But everyone was ordering the catfish, and the po' boys looked really good, so I'd go back. “My Wife and I were in town and stumbled on this place. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely outstanding! I had the lamb curry (hot), and it did not disappoint. The lamb was so tender. All the flavors were fresh, and well done. I don't get a lot of lamb where I live, so I usually opt for it when I can. This was some of the best lamb I have ever had. Zero complaints on the food or staff. The place looked clean. The bathroom wasn't great, but that's okay. I didn't go there for that anyhow. There was next to no wait on the food. As soon as it was done, it was on our table. So, the food was hot and fresh.“

If you have to try an item is recommend you give kanafa a try. Believe me it's really good. It can get pretty busy and you will need to take a token to wait for your turn. Seating can may be difficult to get during the busy hours as well.“
