“I took my girlfriend to The Avenue Brunch House on Michigan Ave in Dearborn to celebrate her birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!“

One thing I’ve seen a lot on TV and in movies is chicken katsu. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the staff. The head chef and owner is Japanese-American, the sous chefs are Latino-American, and the hostess was a nice young Indian-American lady. This kind of diversity is the beauty of newer mom and pop stores. To see this makes me feel welcome and right at home. The lovely sister who tended to my order Ms. Ria was so kind I made sure to leave her a tip😊 and I told her thanks. The interior had traditional Japanese decorations and beautiful works of art both inside and outside the store. The feeling was lovely all of the way around. We waited for a bit before our orders were taken. But the server was very professional. To took very great care of us. Was very apologizing for our wait. He may our visit well worth it. The place was nice and everybody enjoyed the food from appetizer (Humus) and the signature dishes (Fahsah and the grilled platter Lamb Haneeth). We loved it! And I’m giving 👍 our 2 servers (Ammar & Murad), the timing they served our food, drinks and the cake. I would recommend your place and would like to come back again. 👍“

“Dined here for dinner; located at the mall, just 7 minutes away from the Hilton Double Tree Hotel. Had the Kung Pow chicken for my main course, and spring rolls for appetizer. The restaurant was pretty empty as it was a the middle of the week. Service was fast. My server Madison was very friendly and polite. She made sure that her customers were satisfied. Overall it was an ok experience.“

We had the streaky bacon brioche with scrambled eggs, cheddar and fresh chives, every mouth full was so tasty the bacon was crispy, not greasy it was light it actually reminded me of bacon frazzle crisps it was that light. The scrambled eggs were so light and fluffy perfectly paired with the toasted brioche bun. To drink I had a chemex coffee using a Kenyon blend it was fruity and full of flavor. Then to finish a flat white which was beautiful. I highly recommended Sams Coffee we will be back very soon“

I'd go back just for the loaded seafood fries though - those were super delicious, had a good amount of whole fried shrimp perfectly cooked, and yummy toppings for $8.50. Yes, please. We also ordered both of the lobster sandwiches - the lobster roll and the lobster BLT - both tasted good; my lobster was the slightest bit overcooked but plentiful, but the sandwiches themselves are mini. Like, half the size of a regular bun. $25? I wouldn't do that again. But everyone was ordering the catfish, and the po' boys looked really good, so I'd go back. It is really nice to have them downtown - something different than the usual for sure.“

“My Wife and I were in town and stumbled on this place. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely outstanding! I had the lamb curry (hot), and it did not disappoint. The lamb was so tender. All the flavors were fresh, and well done. I don't get a lot of lamb where I live, so I usually opt for it when I can. This was some of the best lamb I have ever had. Zero complaints on the food or staff. The place looked clean. The bathroom wasn't great, but that's okay. I didn't go there for that anyhow. There was next to no wait on the food. As soon as it was done, it was on our table. So, the food was hot and fresh.“
