This is one of the best South Indian restaurants in the area. Not the place to come to if you’re looking for high end ambiance. This is the best Indian restaurant in Ann Arbor. I have visited all the places but found Madras Masala to be the most authentic. Quantity is decent. Price is reasonable. Taste was amazing. We had Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Kothu Parotta, Egg Kothu Parotta, Mutton Varutha Kari, Chicken Dosa, and Rasamalai.

I really enjoyed my butter chicken and the garlic naan was so fresh and buttery! We also were able to request “baby mild” for me because I am unable to tolerate the mildest level of hot burning spice
