“Having been to Le Supréme multiple times in the last month (I've now had; brunch, and dinner service) I can say it's easily one of my favorite spots. My first time walking in the space I was amazed at all the attention to detail. It's an impeccably Parisian bistro with dark hardwood, and cosy booths. Servers float through the dining room in white shirts and ties, they're friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The food leaves nothing lacking, from perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise at brunch to the punchy yet creamy Filet au Poivre. Something as simple and classic as Bistro-fare isn't as simple to execute so perfectly each time and yet here we are. For those looking for a real showstopper do not miss the seafood tower! With food like this, and a really well curated wine glass and bottle list, I'm going to be coming back as often as I can!“
“Omg this place is life customer service was impeccable. The atmosphere is lovely, comfortable and inviting with a laid-back feel. Most definitely go and visit. The only thing I would say is parking is awful because of its location. Definitely is a hidden gem in the Detroit area. Go and visit coffee was delicious and also was the Old fashioned ?“
“Alpino really showed out for the brunch soft opening. I truly enjoyed myself. The starting dishes were 2 pastry savory dishes. The squash crostata was absolutely amazing it was flaky and lite. Sorta like a warm quiche packed with savory veggies. The other was a scallop potatoes in a puff pastry that was freaking phenomenal. Then I had the German traditional breakfast which consisted of fresh baked rye bread, alp blossom cheese, a chilled soft boiled egg, speck prosciutto, apple butter ands apple jam. The other items ordered were the Colin’s Alpino Burger and the Rosti Benedict. Not only was the food amazing but the drinks were incredible also. The Nova Spritz is a amazing gin forward spritz that’s very refreshing. I highly recommend you check out Alpino on Sunday mornings. Brunch ends at 3pm. Go check them out“
“First off, Cuisine's cuisine is outstanding. This was our first time here and we will certainly return just NOT on a night where there is an event at the Fisher Theatre (we did have tickets). And it's not about the limited menu (I get that and we had excellent selections to choose from), it's just that it all seemed way too rushed. Maybe that's management's way of making sure no one missed the event opening, which is understandable (our event had a 25 minute seating delay if you missed the opening), but we booked our reservation at 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to start time so as not to have to worry about being rushed. I also thought (incorrectly) that booking so early we might get access to the full menu (nope). And I didn't get the sense that they were trying to turn our table to get another party in. The whole vibe just seemed a bit frantic. So if you don't mind feeling rushed, do go here on an event night. However, if the rest of the menu is as wonderful as the limited pre-fix, I'd highly recommend going when the Fisher is dark.“
“My wife and I recently hosted wine and fine food party for several friends. This was our first visit to the Statler and it was excellent: Our sommelier, Andree', was fabulous; so knowledgeable and entertaining. The food pairings were perfect and the wines delicious. The Statler is located in a convenient spot in downtown; its easy to find with plenty of parking options. We can't wait to get back.“
“Pound for pound the best restaurant I have been to in the greater metro Detroit area! I had my valentine's day dinner here and it blew my expectations out of the water. First, our server Katie was fantastic, she knew everything on the menu and guided us in every correct direction when we were torn between our options. We started with the bread, skate cheeks, and beef tartare. The bread had two wonderful butters (sumac & chive)... the sumac butter was out of this world. The skate cheeks had a wonderful dusting of seasoning on them and the tartar sauce was amazing... not overly pungent. The beef tartare was super high quality and I loved the creme fraiche to balance the steak. For our entrees, we had the lamb burger and short rib. The lamb burger had a rich onion jam and the burger was still juicy even though it was order medium well. The short ribs were to die for and the trumpet mushroom was cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the orange ice cream/sorbet, as someone who is not a dessert person this blew my mind. I can keep going on and on... but this restaurant truly should be on anyone's radar who is looking for a great restaurant in the Detroit area... I will be recommending to everyone“
“I've hosted several events at Bar Pigalle, and the staff always goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether it's a birthday party or a corporate gathering, they're accommodating and easy to work with. I love the staffs being hospitable to everyone and treated them with respect.“
