“Had the snappiest hot dog ever here. The service was delightful and the fries were piping hot. I walked past this place headed to another eatery and the smells emitting from inside made me do a u-turn and I ended up sitting down for a
Bite.“

“This diner is PERFECT. As a vegetarian, I come for the super hippy hash, it's one of my favorite breakfasts in Michigan! The food is consistently DELICIOUS and comes out crazy fast. The staff here run this place like a well-oiled machine and are always kind and thoughtful. I've been coming here for a long time, and I hope it never changes, except maybe to add a plant-based breakfast meat to the menu!“

“This was my first time ever trying out National Coney Island, and the service is amazing! I went there in the morning on Friday, August 9th, and Brittany was so sweet and helpful. She recommended me to try the Swiss cheese with my burrito and to try out their fries. She was even kind enough to clean off the grill for my sister and I ☺️ she genuinely made our day and we will definitely recommend our friends to come try Coney Island out and would come again!“

“This is one of the nicest and coziest coney islands in the city!!! This was a neighborhood gem that I grew up hearing about. The food here is delicious and made with care. Everybody who works here are so kind and helpful. Funny conversations and good vibes here. Ask them anything and they will make your order exactly how you ordered it. Really wished there were more coney islands like this in the city. ;) 10/10
Parking: The parking is on the side street close to the restaurant. It’s wheelchair accessible and convenient for people with disabilities.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is close and there’s a sidewalk path for people who require assistance.“
“Impressed! Just had lunch from here for the first time, at the GPS 4th of July fest. Now I think I need to follow them around, or clone myself so I can try everything on the menu. We had the Woodward dog, the Philly Steak and 8-Mile fries. We’re in a happy cheese coma now… :) Seriously - premium truck experience. Great taste; great presentation; tasty buns and fresh, crunchy peppers. Super-good!“

“Finally, after so long of looking for something different, this place killed it! The nacho burger was way better than expected. My fiancé got the all-American burger and fell in love with the first bite! I couldn't help but leave a review, that food was slappin!!!“

“Hot dog cart just outside of the eastern market. I really liked it it was perfect for my need (to eat before a Tigers game). I didn't think the dog itself was the best but all of the condiments (I got the chicago dog) were good. I think I'll try a red hot next time. The combo; dog, chips and a pop was $9.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's a cart on the street.“
“Giving five stars because you guys are awesome people and the community loves you!Constructive feedback regarding why people have stopped coming;•The lady at the front counter takes a bit longer than is preferred considering most people are just stopping for a "quick" bite to eat.•The prices are a bit high. $6/each ?If you had a $2 Tuesday you'd have a line down the hall at least $3.•It looks as though you've watered down the coney sauce to save money. If you were to lower your prices and speed up service this would be a no brainier.I hate to see good business' fail for silly reasons especially if it's as simple as someone giving them honest feedback. It can be difficult to give good people negative feedback. But it is important to do this, especially if we want to see businesses in our community thriving.“

“I ate breakfast here while in town for work. The staff were friendly and service was great! I ordered a Greek omelette w toast and coffee. A solid meal for sure, although not as great as some of the diners I’ve been to before.
If you want diner food for a reasonable price this is your place. Nothing fancy but still a good place to dine.“

“I left Chicago after the taste of the town me and my homegirl drove over 4 hours just for a delicious corn beef sandwich it was the best thing I had ate all weekend. The food is always fresh and good. I absolutely love this place and I visit every time I’m in town. I’m from Toledo so it’s a 1 drive but always worth it. Chicago food has nothing on Detroit.“

“One of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had. The service was quick and we got ours to go, but the atmosphere was classic, family-owned joint that focuses more on getting you good food rather than being fancy. Gotta love it. Don’t get it confused with the one on the corner right next door.“
