Prices are totally competitive with any other place out there. It's insane to me anyone would get a $16 fastfood burger combo when you can come here and get REAL burger combo for about the same price.“

“Just dined in and had Kelly as a server. She was very friendly and attentive and gave us excellent service. I would have given all five stars but it appeared our server was being bullied by the older Arabic waitress and that was sad to see. My husband and I were just looking around people watching and the older Arabic waitress yelled out who has that table and implied something was wrong when it wasn’t and had Kelly come over to check on us when she had been very attentive already. That lady seemed very rude but everything else was good!“

We got a to-go bag of food and discovered that the chili fries order is a VERY large portion, so it makes sense that it's over $5! “We had a really rough week recently—our daughter had been in the hospital, our fridge went out, we were running on zero sleep, and work had been stressful. On the way home, we stopped at Portillo’s in Livonia for a late lunch, just trying to get through the day. The kind woman taking our order asked how our day was going, and my husband honestly said it had been rough because our daughter had just gotten out of the hospital. She immediately expressed genuine concern, told us she was sorry, and said she hoped our day would get better. When we pulled up to the next window, that same sweet employee came over and asked if we would like some free dessert. We thought that alone was incredibly thoughtful. Then she asked us to pull forward for a moment. Shortly after, the manager and a couple of other employees came outside with our food. The manager told us he was going to comp our entire meal and said he understood how hard it can be when your child is sick because he has kids too. They all wished us well and showed such kindness. I truly wanted to cry. My husband and I were exhausted physically and emotionally, and this simple act of compassion meant more than they probably realize. It completely turned our day around. If anyone from Portillo’s sees this—thank you. Your kindness made a difference for our family when we really needed it. If you ever think a small act of kindness doesn’t matter, think again.“

“food was amazing so yummyFood was all hot and fresh. This was the first time my children had a&w and they just loved it. The girls working were friendly. Slight miscommunication on one drink but it was quickly rectified and not a big deal. I think all the chatter in the car made it hard for them to hear. (SORRY!) We ordered 3 very different meals but all 3 of us were happy!!! Excellent food and service.“
