“Overall, my experience was 4 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere: 4 stars.Dimly lite, White tablecloth, more higher end ambiance. My only complaint was that the violinist was playing extremely loud. We couldn't really hear each other at our table. I recommend turning the volume down so it becomes more of a background noise that complements the atmosphere versus overpowering it.The food: 4 starsWe had the roasted beets appetizer, the seven hour slow braised short rib, Aqua Fino, Saku Tuna, the sweet Corn Tomato Bisque, and tirmusuThe overall plating was very high-end reto-- a little dated (edible flowers, reduction sauce lines). The sweet Corn Tomato Bisque (soup of the day) was adverage. Very sweet, missing some other flavor components (salt, bitter, sour). The Seven Hour Short Rib was served on top of a baked potato with 3 Asparagus spears. The flavor was slightly above average. The meat itself did not have much of a flavor. The gravy/sauce gave it its flavor, which drowned the plate. The Asparagus just seemed to be dry roasted, no glaze, or seasoning to compliment it. And the baked potato was just that, a baked potato partially cut in half with the short rib on top.The salmon and tuna, I did not have, but my acquaintances said that they were good. The tiramisu was good. I enjoyed it very much. I wouldn't necessarily serve it with the strawberry garnish or the berry dirzzel lines on the side, but overall, it was good. The service: 5 stars. The wait staff were extremely friendly and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Overall: 4 out of 5 stars.“

“Had the opportunity to stop into this restaurant for a photoshoot and wow! It might just seem like another Michigan Leo's Coney Island, but Sam, Mona, and their staff all treat you like family! They really are passionate, hardworking, and incredibly kind people. The food again is standard good Coney Island fare, but it's the service and personal attention that make this location fantastic. If you're ever in Plymouth, be sure to check them out! Also, keep in mind this is the 5 Mile / Sheldon Road location, Plymouth has a couple of Coney Islands.“

“This new Big Boy is so modern inside and they chose really nice colors for it. They match well together. It was really nice to be able to be in a New Big Boy restaurant. Even though it is not as big as the other Big Boy restaurants. It's really great. The food we got was delicious. The waitress we had was on top of things always bringing refills without us having to ask. The Big Boy hamburger tasted so good! They even have many options for dessert here however, we were too full to order one! The spaghetti sauce they use tastes great and has great flavor. I do have to say we have been here twice now. Even though I forgot to take a picture of it their Cinnamon Caramel French Toast is the Bomb! That is what I got the second time we came here. But you really can't go wrong on their hamburgers here! That special secret thousand island dressing that goes on the Big Boy really makes that burger soooo good! We will be back again and again and again!“

“Definitely an attractive restaurant, gives thecozy vibeof sn Irish pub. The food was just fine, met but didn't quite exceed our expectations. The bathrooms were clean enough, the staff behind the bar were chichatting about their personal lives a little bit too much for my comfort while sitting up at the bar. They have a really good selection of draftbeer. A solid Irish destination when you're in the area!“

“Nice spot, was busy when we got there. TVs all over with sports coverage, can get a little loud but nice. Food was solid. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but if you’re in the area and need something simple and easy this works! Enjoyed our meal though for sure, certainly not a bad experience just not somewhere I would be craving and rushing back to.Had the shrimp/avocado salad - we added some bacon and Gorgonzola from the other salad we ordered and that made it more enjoyable. Tried a few apps - the beef tips and burnt ends - both good; both came with fried onion strings. Burnt ends had good flavor but a bit on the fatty side (just like overly fatty). The aperol spritz was disappointing, barely any flavor - definitely didn’t do the ratios correctly. Our server was nice enough but clearly didn’t want to be there or do more than the bare minimum.Overall good, and the place is busy and popular, just wouldn’t be my first choice. Just was ok for the price.“
