“La Bistecca in Plymouth is truly a gem. My wife and I have been coming here for years, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots for a great Italian dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently excellent, and the service always makes the experience even better. A big shoutout to Jerry Costanza, the owner, who is one of the kindest and most humble people you’ll meet. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and the experience they have at the restaurant. Donna, who greeted us when we arrived, was incredibly welcoming and set the tone for the evening. Our waiter, Michael, was above amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It’s rare to find a place that delivers great food, excellent service, and genuine hospitality every time, but La Bistecca does exactly that. It’s been a while since I’ve been treated with such kind hospitality in a food place. I got the gluten free chicken tenders, green beans, and potato wedges… all delicious! The place has a nice store front and the inside is a little small but has an intimate feel. The staff were very on top of everything. Getting drinks, orders, refills, checks, smiles, etc. Like clockwork. I had the Mountain Roll and the Nabeyako Udon. I like the Mountain Roll best of the two but both very good. Will say, on the normal menu, you may have to ask what certain things are. Very lottle descriptions, compared to the sushi menu, that's very detailed.

You do get a feel of being rushed when you are there though. It's a small place, so I understand they need to rotate tables in and out otherwise it would be very congested here. The staff are not pushy by any means, but you get the sense when you should probably get ready to go. Otherwise, good place to bring a date and would recommend anyonebl ooking for a good sushi/noodle place.“

The French dip was tasty dipped in the cup of au jus, loaded with slices of ribeye between a crusty bun. Fries were nice and crisp.

Classic lake pointe burger thick and juicy, no condiments needed, as it was full of flavor with a side of tater tots.

Our friend got the bone in wings with hot buffalo sauce. He really liked them, and said the pizza here is great too.

“This place has the best fish and chips... I mean the GOAT!!! I ordered delivery back on 2/20 and reviewed them on Uber, but had to review here too because I'm craving that cod again. I don't usually even like fish. The pieces are big, flakey and just the perfect amount of breading. Plus they give you a bunch of extras with your meal. I might not even make it until Friday.“

The temp in July was around 95F outside but unfortunately it felt like 85F inside the restaurant. Their AC was on but the restaurant was not cooling off which made it a bit uncomfortable.

I would have ordered a salad but the Cyclosporiasis outbreak was taking place in Michigan in 2026 so I just ordered Chicken Quesadillas.“
