“La Bistecca in Plymouth is truly a gem. My wife and I have been coming here for years, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots for a great Italian dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently excellent, and the service always makes the experience even better. A big shoutout to Jerry Costanza, the owner, who is one of the kindest and most humble people you’ll meet. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and the experience they have at the restaurant. Donna, who greeted us when we arrived, was incredibly welcoming and set the tone for the evening. Our waiter, Michael, was above amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It’s rare to find a place that delivers great food, excellent service, and genuine hospitality every time, but La Bistecca does exactly that. Great Seafood Boil Experience
We found this restaurant completely by chance through Google and its reviews, and I'm happy to say the reviewers were absolutely right. Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave honest feedback—it helped us discover a great place!
Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos because my hands were covered in seafood boil, but the food and experience were memorable enough to write about.
What I liked most was the food and the staff. The seafood boil was delicious, and I appreciated being able to customize it exactly how I wanted. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean with well-maintained tables, plenty of napkins, and all the tools needed to crack open lobster and other shellfish. They also serve alcoholic beverages, which is a nice bonus. Another great feature is that they offer menu items beyond seafood boils, making it a good choice for people in your group who may not be seafood fans.
One minor issue had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. Another customer was having a conversation on speakerphone, which was a little annoying. Unfortunately, you can't control inconsiderate people. On the positive side, there is a large parking lot with plenty of spaces available.
As for the negatives, I would skip the appetizers. The crab rangoon and egg rolls were not very good and were easily the weakest part of the meal. The parking lot is also a little rough and could use some attention.
One piece of advice: try to visit during off-peak hours, especially on weekends. The restaurant gets extremely busy. I would personally choose a weekday visit next time.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The excellent seafood, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and clean environment made for a great experience. The appetizers kept it from being a perfect score, but it's still a solid 4 out of 5 stars.“

I stumbled upon it riding through Westland. Have I found jewel. The food is affordable. Nice cordial atmosphere. Just the place to sink into a Delicious plentiful Seafood Boil. Their house sauce is yummy.

The French dip was tasty dipped in the cup of au jus, loaded with slices of ribeye between a crusty bun. Fries were nice and crisp.

Classic lake pointe burger thick and juicy, no condiments needed, as it was full of flavor with a side of tater tots.

Our friend got the bone in wings with hot buffalo sauce. He really liked them, and said the pizza here is great too.

“I met a bunch of colleagues here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The food was average and the staff were very nice. The temp in July was around 95F outside but unfortunately it felt like 85F inside the restaurant. Their AC was on but the restaurant was not cooling off which made it a bit uncomfortable.

I would have ordered a salad but the Cyclosporiasis outbreak was taking place in Michigan in 2026 so I just ordered Chicken Quesadillas.“
