“Visiting the area for work. I ended up working late and was craving noodles.

The place has a nice store front and the inside is a little small but has an intimate feel. The staff were very on top of everything. Getting drinks, orders, refills, checks, smiles, etc. Like clockwork. I had the Mountain Roll and the Nabeyako Udon. I like the Mountain Roll best of the two but both very good. Will say, on the normal menu, you may have to ask what certain things are. Very lottle descriptions, compared to the sushi menu, that's very detailed.

You do get a feel of being rushed when you are there though. It's a small place, so I understand they need to rotate tables in and out otherwise it would be very congested here. The staff are not pushy by any means, but you get the sense when you should probably get ready to go. Otherwise, good place to bring a date and would recommend anyonebl ooking for a good sushi/noodle place.“

I stumbled upon it riding through Westland. Have I found jewel. The food is affordable. Nice cordial atmosphere. Just the place to sink into a Delicious plentiful Seafood Boil. Their house sauce is yummy.

A big shoutout to Jerry Costanza, the owner, who is one of the kindest and most humble people you’ll meet. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and the experience they have at the restaurant. Donna, who greeted us when we arrived, was incredibly welcoming and set the tone for the evening. Our waiter, Michael, was above amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It’s rare to find a place that delivers great food, excellent service, and genuine hospitality every time, but La Bistecca does exactly that. “I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“

“First time eating at this spot, I got to say I was impressed, the food quality was decent. The 4 pc salmon fish and chips meal, was tasteful seasoned well enough that you had fkavor in every bite. The fries however could of been seasoned, thankfully I had my own seasoning. Will be coming back to try more of the menu.“

I had the California burrito and asked to add cilantro and had no issues, in fact the person taking the order loaded me up with additional toppings and sauces that the burrito was filling enough for 2 meals. The French dip was tasty dipped in the cup of au jus, loaded with slices of ribeye between a crusty bun. Fries were nice and crisp.

Classic lake pointe burger thick and juicy, no condiments needed, as it was full of flavor with a side of tater tots.

Our friend got the bone in wings with hot buffalo sauce. He really liked them, and said the pizza here is great too.
