“Our server Chris was spot on. From the moment we were seated he made us feel special. I ended up ordering the bang bang shrimp tacos which he recommended. They were so good! Our drinks were kept full the entire time. It was so nice to have a server who made sure we had everything we needed without having to ask. Can’t wait to sit on their patio once it gets warmer out.“

“We had a celebration of life event for my mother-in-law this weekend at Fiamma. I had never been there or even seen it because I love out of state.
The space (main dining room) was gorgeous. The food was delicious and I cannot say enough great things about the wait staff. I was so pleased with everything and cannot recommend them enough!“

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“Supernatural is pretty amazing! The staff are really cool, friendly, and did I say cool?! Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! I just tried the Ginger Jalapeno brew that you made me for my birthday and that stuff should be on tap... hopefully it will someday soon! Keep doing what you do guys!! You can bet I'll be back again... and again... and again!!“

“My wife and I stopped into Anna's House for breakfast this past weekday and had a really nice experience overall.

First impression — the place is just warm and welcoming. Clean, bright, comfortable, not too loud even though it was fairly busy. You can tell they put effort into making it feel like home. Lots of natural light and friendly staff saying hello as you come in.

We both had breakfast — coffee came quickly and was hot, food was excellent. Everything came out fresh, nicely plated, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Generous portions too, we definitely didn't leave hungry. You can see why this place has such a loyal crowd.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the service was a bit slow. Our server was very nice and apologetic, it just seemed like they were a little short-staffed for the morning rush. Nothing major, and they were working hard, but we did wait a bit longer than expected for our order.

That said, we will absolutely be back. It's a great neighborhood spot for a relaxed breakfast, and the food and atmosphere more than make up for a slow morning. Highly recommend giving it a try.“

“My wife and I stumbled across this nice little pizzeria in downtown Northville. The pizza tasted like it was made in Italy. We had the Homey Badger. We also had their Italian sausage meat balls for appetizers. The staff are very nice setting the tone for a nice atmosphere.“

“We had Mother’s Day brunch here a the food was amazing. Everything was great. Potatoes seasoned right, filet was cook medium, with an exquisite gravy. Chicken and vegetables were also good. “I like this place. Used to live nearby, but moved in 2024. I now travel 17 miles to go to this place. It has a low key vibe, service is good, and the food is good. It's inside a Nordstrom at the mall. So, it's a good spot in between shopping errands and seeing a movie at the AMC. They have a happy hour and a bar. They share pretty much the same menu as Cafe Verde at Century City & The Grove, which is blocks from me, but I prefer this location and they have French Onion soup which the others don't.“

“Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.“

“Yes and No. Dinner here while at the hotel. My husband’s Alfredo was great. My braised short rib risotto was good, but the risotto part was way too salty and the chunks of mushrooms were extremely tough. We also had a cheese board that contained two (was supposed to be three) boring cheeses in tiny chunks, so hardly a cheeseboard two people could share. Also had super spicy chutney (yikes), a spicy mustard and some sliced baguette and hard crackers. Not much to it that was quality or would help a hungry visitor.“

More notable however is the wonderful and attentive staff. Aside from my own server, everyone was super friendly and ensured I didn't need anything. Had an omelet this morning which was good. Prefer crispy hashbrowns, but I didn't request and so likely being picky at this point. Great service seems hard to find these days. Will definitely be back!“
