“I booked the back room for my daughter's baby shower. We had a brunch buffet and everything was delicious. The service was also very good. The room was the perfect size for 35 people and the atmosphere was nice. I would recommend Fiamma's for a shower.“

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“Supernatural is pretty amazing! The staff are really cool, friendly, and did I say cool?! Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! I just tried the Ginger Jalapeno brew that you made me for my birthday and that stuff should be on tap... hopefully it will someday soon! Keep doing what you do guys!! “This is a cute coffee/diner chair you can find in MI. The coffee / drink selection is excellent. I found the food to be lackluster. I felt like I could have gone to a leos coney island or diner for the same quality like your standard breakfast meal or eggs Benedict. I think this establishment probably shines on the fancier meals but they should focus on all of the options.“

“My wife and I stumbled across this nice little pizzeria in downtown Northville. The pizza tasted like it was made in Italy. We had the Homey Badger. We also had their Italian sausage meat balls for appetizers. The staff are very nice setting the tone for a nice atmosphere.“

I've had plenty of Gyro pitas as well as wraps before but none come close to L.Georges.I don't know how they took the same ingredients and changed it for the better. The sauce on it was creamier and more well balanced than the others I have tried. Even the pita! The pita was soft but not mushy and somehow tasted better as well.

“Yes and No. Dinner here while at the hotel. My husband’s Alfredo was great. My braised short rib risotto was good, but the risotto part was way too salty and the chunks of mushrooms were extremely tough. We also had a cheese board that contained two (was supposed to be three) boring cheeses in tiny chunks, so hardly a cheeseboard two people could share. Also had super spicy chutney (yikes), a spicy mustard and some sliced baguette and hard crackers. Not much to it that was quality or would help a hungry visitor.“
