“I like this place. Used to live nearby, but moved in 2024. I now travel 17 miles to go to this place. It has a low key vibe, service is good, and the food is good. It's inside a Nordstrom at the mall. So, it's a good spot in between shopping errands and seeing a movie at the AMC. They have a happy hour and a bar. They share pretty much the same menu as Cafe Verde at Century City & The Grove, which is blocks from me, but I prefer this location and they have French Onion soup which the others don't.“

“Yes and No. Dinner here while at the hotel. My husband’s Alfredo was great. My braised short rib risotto was good, but the risotto part was way too salty and the chunks of mushrooms were extremely tough. We also had a cheese board that contained two (was supposed to be three) boring cheeses in tiny chunks, so hardly a cheeseboard two people could share. Also had super spicy chutney (yikes), a spicy mustard and some sliced baguette and hard crackers. Not much to it that was quality or would help a hungry visitor.“

“We just tried MiYork for the first time last night but it won't be our last. The store smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. I ordered a meatball sub, a spicy chicken sandwich and French fries. Everything was so tasty and still hot when I got home. We cannot wait to try all the other items. Very friendly service and it didn't take long at all for my order.“

“Jimmy (Gezim) was fantastic! We typically visit Prime 29 about 2-3x per year and the service is always exceptional. Jimmy's humor and charisma were the absolute highlight of our evening. The food was cooked to perfection and they even accommodated my husband's gluten-free and daily free dietary needs.“

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“Supernatural is pretty amazing! The staff are really cool, friendly, and did I say cool?! Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! I just tried the Ginger Jalapeno brew that you made me for my birthday and that stuff should be on tap... hopefully it will someday soon! Keep doing what you do guys!! “The food, service, and vibe were all great! We went in around 5 for an early dinner, but by the time we left at 6:30 it was busy so I’d make reservations if visiting after 6. We had the Kirkland and the islander and Heineken for drinks. We shared the steak frites and crab cakes with baked mac and cheese as a side. It was all delicious and the portions were decent sized. “My wife and I stumbled across this nice little pizzeria in downtown Northville. The pizza tasted like it was made in Italy. We had the Homey Badger. We also had their Italian sausage meat balls for appetizers. The staff are very nice setting the tone for a nice atmosphere.“

“Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.“

Waitress were excellent, efficient and I'm so impressed with how clean the place is even the bathrooms! As one person who recommended them you could eat in bathroom it's so clean! She was a little taller than average, thin, with black curly hair pulled up in a bun. The food was amazing, but honestly, even if it wasn’t, she alone would have made our experience worth it.

She was genuinely the sweetest server I’ve ever had. She was so bubbly, attentive, and on top of everything. I never once had to ask for a refill because she was already checking on us. She even offered to pack up my food for me, and I told her no because she was already running around doing a million things.

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I truly couldn’t have been happier with the experience. I really hope the restaurant knows exactly who I’m talking about because that young woman was one of the brightest, kindest people I’ve ever met. She even chased my husband and I down in the parking lot to return his phone!

“Was excited to try for the first time. Got three meals and some extra sides. Got home to incorrect order but went back and was given the correct order free of charge. They were attentive. Wasn’t thrilled with the food but restaurant looked clean and the whole team stayed busy working on orders. Mix ups happen. Glad they corrected it :)“
