Great food! Come here often. Staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. The gentlemen in the kitchen know what they're doing, some experience going on there! Their Reuben is fantastic, and their breakfasts too! Very generous portions.

Backyard Coney Island is a popular spot in the Wixom area, known for its tasty homemade sausages, crispy fries, and juicy burgers. The restaurant offers hearty portions at stellar prices. The staff is friendly and nice, and the cooks do great work. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Service is fast and friendly, and the owner is nice and comes to talk to guests. The plates are huge, so arrive hungry! Kids love the food, especially the hot chocolate with whipped topping and sprinkles, and there’s a large kids menu. The kitchen is very accommodating for vegetarian options and dietary restrictions. Great bacon & eggs make it the best diner in Wixom, Novi, New Hudson, or South Lyon. Parking is no longer a hassle with plenty of spaces and huge windows to see your vehicle. Wheelchair access is excellent. The staff, like Vera, makes everyone feel welcome, like family.
