“food was amazing so yummyFood was all hot and fresh. This was the first time my children had a&w and they just loved it. The girls working were friendly. Slight miscommunication on one drink but it was quickly rectified and not a big deal. I think all the chatter in the car made it hard for them to hear. (SORRY!) We ordered 3 very different meals but all 3 of us were happy!!! Excellent food and service.“
“Reading the reviews prior, I had high expectations. Had the Ring of Fire and chili fries. Burger was outstanding and they give you a ton of fries. Minor complaint, +3.50 for the chili is a bit much. Overall it was a great experience and definitely would go back if Im in the area.“
“Great burgers here, and they cook their waffle fries perfectly! Drive-in style set up, but you have to order at the window. Staff is always friendly, and they'll bring your food to you if they're not too busy.Portions are large, so it can be tough to save room for dessert. If you manage (sometimes it's worth just skipping), they have a wide choice of ice cream, shakes, and other frozen delights.Excellent place to bring family and friends on a warm summer day. Have a seat to eat and take in the beautiful view of the lake!“
“I have not been to an A&W drive up in a while. I was so disappointed not to have a window tray with a frosty mug of root beer. Just the standard cup with a plastic lid and straw. Maybe that is the way it is anymore at the driveups at A&W. Too bad. Tastes the same but not the same, you know.“
“Alright, i haven't had a true burger since i became gluten intolerant, but i was in the area, and inquired with The Burger Joint about their gluten free options. Not only do they have decent gluten free buns, they have a dedicated fryer where nothing with gluten is fried in it. Fantastic!I paid $20 including tip for my burger with addons and a side of fries, and it was worth EVERY PENNY. Thank you The Burger Joint, for a wonderful and delicious experience!“
“This was the best burger I have ever had. Came here maybe 30 minutes before close for a late dinner, ordered 2 burgers and fries, BBQ Rodeo Burger & The CEO, phenomenal. Taste was on point, it was hot and fresh, and looked amazing. Establishment was very clean and a couple friendly faces to greet me when I walked in. Will definitely be returning.“
“Had the opportunity to stop into this restaurant for a photoshoot and wow! It might just seem like another Michigan Leo's Coney Island, but Sam, Mona, and their staff all treat you like family! They really are passionate, hardworking, and incredibly kind people. The food again is standard good Coney Island fare, but it's the service and personal attention that make this location fantastic. If you're ever in Plymouth, be sure to check them out! Also, keep in mind this is the 5 Mile / Sheldon Road location, Plymouth has a couple of Coney Islands.“
“So very, very good! Had a loaded burrito and gringo quesadilla. Some of the best Mexican food we have had in all of SE Michigan! Service was good, too. Regarding ambiance...well I think we will do carry out next time. Metal silverware would have been very helpful for people eating in the restaurant. But we will definitely be back for the food!“
“various parts of Michigan is currently experiencing power outages due to the ice storm from last night - while talking about riding around trying to find a hotel to go to, the cashier gave me my food/beverages FREE!..... #BeyondGrateful #Tommie #MVP #Lifesaver #HotDog #BestFriesOnEarth #Coke #CupOfIce #Sprite #ItsJustNiceToBeNice #WillGoBack #YouShouldToo“
“My wife and I recently stopped in here for dinner around 5 PM. The menu was rather typical for a coney island-style restaurant, which was nice. The food was very good. I had breakfast and my wife had a burger. The service was also very good. One thing that impressed me: The waitstaff and cook washed their hands often while we were there. I like that they take such things seriously.“
“My waitress was professional, fast, and knowledgeable about what was needed and at what time. Her memory about drinks, food, boxes for take-home, and the multiple bills we had at one table was amazing! I've always enjoyed coney islands, but she made this one an exceptional experience!Dietary restrictions: One of my friends I with whom I was eating has several allergies and she always finds a dish to eat that is catered to her.Parking: It is a shared parking lot, but I've not had trouble parking any time I've visited.Kid-friendliness: Always decorated for the current holiday which gives a family feel and I consistently see families in this restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk outside has a wheelchair slant and the entrance and entire restaurant are on the same level so any table is available for wheelchair guests.“
“Visited this location tonight for dinner for my family. We placed carry out. The line was long when we came in to order but moved fast. Placing my order was easy and fast. When I went to pick it up it was ready and waiting for me. Everything was as I ordered it to be and my family was happy with full tummys! I will be back.“
“Dairy Twist definitely has some of the best ice cream around but prepare your wallets as they are the most expensive too. The family loves good ice cream but I still cringe spending nearly $30 on small or medium desserts for a family of four. For that reason it's only a one or two times a summer visit type of place but enjoy the treats every time.“
“Great breakfast after a night out. I love that they made up my hashbrowns full of side items like onions, cheese, and ham instead of just hashbrowns like some places do.Parking: Very handicapped, accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Unlike many places, they actually have handcap doors that auto open for wheelchairs.“
“Was looking for a nice spot for dinner and having tried some of the other Coney Island spots around the Detroit area, this one happened to be close to my hotel. Good food, good prices, and an awesome staff. Absolutely loved it.Parking: No issues with parking. Plenty of room.“
