“I was visiting Detroit for a good friend’s wedding and decided to check Alba out because it was one of the places they recommended on their wedding website. The space is cool, the service was friendly and reasonably quick, the iced vanilla late I got was tasty, but the star of the show was the Egg Sandie. I can say confidently that it’s one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. I was a little skeptical since I usually have bacon or sausage breakfast sandwiches, but I was totally blown away. It is somehow simultaneously light but still filling and is soooo flavorful. It’s a very unique sandwich that I’ll be dreaming of for a while. 100% will come back to this spot if I’m ever back in town.“

“Really solid coffee shop! I came here in search of a latte for the morning walk. First, the space itself is very nice and open. Lots of tables available with seating, and seating at the window to people watch or work on a laptop. They had a nice selection of beverages with a great selection of syrups such as lavender, pistachio, and vanilla. The barista was very nice in offering recommendations to me. Pastries looked visually great, and were a good size. They had coffee cake, scones, brownies, etc. The coffee I got was really good and hot! I ordered a chai tea latte and was not disappointed. Overall, a great stop.“

“the coffee was good and it's a cool place to check out. The staff was not friendly at all. we understand they were grieving a coworker, but it was weird when we said "good morning" that she just ignored us. this happened twice so it wasn't like she didn't hear us“

“Fantastic coffee & we so appreciate that you’re nut free! My teenage daughter has severe peanut & tree nut allergies and it’s very rare to find a place where she can get “fancy” coffee without the risk of cross contamination from nut milks/etc. I also appreciate the owner’s quick and thorough response when I emailed with questions. Highly recommend!“
