“I wish I remembered to take a pic of our food, but it was so delicious we ate it up! Pizza, burgers, black bean burgers, nachos, so many great options! I loved the menu and the beers on tap! Great service, delicious food!“

“Moose’s Pub is a cosy, down to earth sit-down bar with its own little spin on the martini field. They have seasonal cocktails ranging from Lychee-Tinis to Berriful drinks filled to the brim. The lady that served me and my husband was nice, business focused and respectful towards us. I was there on my 21st birthday, for the obvious thing to do- drink!
We ordered; The Mrs, The Lychee-Tini, The Cooler and The Berry Martini. And the Chili Cheese Fries.

Honestly, every drink was a blast, all priced at 12 dollars, and the chili cheese fries that were priced at 8 dollars.
The martinis were spot on, delicious and had a very nice tang, especially The Lychee & Mrs. While The Cooler & Berry were more on the soft, less alcoholic tasting side.
Now- these fries, the chili cheese ones, were absolutely to die for. They’re crispy, crunchy, with a sauce made out of the perfect blend of chili and cheese giving the fries an unneeded but most certainly elevating boost. They melt in your mouth, sending a cosy and satisfying feeling that stays with you throughout your experience.

Decor was cute, cosy, the atmosphere was a comfortable buzz. Not too much, but also not too little. No rowdiness- more so a dreamy like feel where the noise is in the background and doesn’t take the attention away from your date.
I’d definitely pop on around again for another chili cheese fry and some martinis!

PS: For those aiming for a happy hour, make sure before hand that they still have the promotion. We went around 3 PM on a Sunday and there was no promotion.

“Biergarten is one of our favorite local places! This year they saved my fiancé’s 30th birthday when another local bar could no longer accommodate us last minute. I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. “I’ve had the birria quesadilla and grilled cheese with tomato soup. Can’t wait to try the birria tacos! The grilled cheese has pesto and tomatoes and it’s next level, the soup is very good too. Also the birria - smoky perfection. So flavorful! I had birria sauce left over and mixed it with chickpeas the next day. “We held a 50th birthday party for our daughter in the private room last Saturday evening. The service and the food was extraordinary. We had 50 attendees that included old and not so old. The banquet items were outstanding and the chef did a marvelous job of preparation and presentation. Passed appetizers were a hit with everyone. (I particularly liked the crab cakes) Sheila, Yen, Rex, and Kat provided the beverage service and passed the appetizers and drink orders with smiles and efficiency. While we didn't see much of the kitchen staff, Gil, Emeka, Chaona, and Aaron provided culinary treats that had all the attendees marveling at the variety and taste. And most helpful were Joanna and Paul, the proprietors. Thank you Common Pub for a most memorable evening and event!“

“Wow, what a great experience we had at Eastwood Grille last night! We were a large table of 24 guests, and we were served by our waitress Tiffany with such prompt and courteous service, everyone at our table raved about it all night. We were never without drinks, our food came out piping hot with very generous proportions and great prices. Tiffany had us in and out , with bellies full in 1 1/2 hrs. Shout out to the chefs and to Wendi who also came to check on us through out our dinner. Would definately recommend this restaurant, we'll definately be back!“

“Fantastic beer coming out of the east side of the state! Watch out west side breweries. Great beer selection wirh brews that a consistent and varied. The IPAs are tasty and hoppy while the porters are robust and warming in the cooler months. Big, big fan of Elephant Juice and Sweater Weather - this combination covers my whole year. The brewery is a nice space, funky and welcoming. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, can't go wrong here.“

Came here on a Monday (when they'd opened specifically for an LFC match) and was blown away by the hospitality - Irish coffees and HT pizza anyone? - and the kindness shown to me by Jet (hope I've spelled tha right) who was running the place and assorted legends partaking in the match / beer / whisky. “This is a nice little neighborhood bar. While they do not serve any food, there is a good atmosphere and very reasonable drink prices.The place is definitely different than when I visited about 7 years ago. It's remodeled and much more modern. They don't seem to really "look the other way" on smoking anymore.Our waitress, Crystal (or Krystal), was very friendly and attentive as well. She wasted no time getting our drinks, but also talked with us and didn't seem like she was in a big rush.I liked the atmosphere of this place too. It's clean, the music is chill, and while there is seating at the bar, the other seating kind of reminds me of a little lounge.Overall, I enjoyed the experience at this place. And it was a much different experience than what it was years ago when I visited.“

“I've been going to this place to watch the Wings win since the 1990s, but have since moved to Alaska. But everytime I come home, I'm still drawn to this place like a moth to a flame. It's changed over the years, but they still keep high quality beers in tap and in the bottle.
They removed the TV from the men's room, which needs to be out back so a guy doesn't miss a goal while having a piss. Its only fair, right?“

“This place is a hidden gem in University Row. The wings are the best I've had anywhere in town, and I've tried a lot of places. Fast, hot, crispy, large and well sauced. Fries were perfectly crunchy and seasoned. Now the best part of this little place is the ones running it. I watched one of our unhoused wanderers be treated like a human as they should be. He walked in with just enough change to get a pop. Then I watched the woman who does well almost everything, ask this man if he was hungry and if he had eaten that day. To which he embarrassingly answered. She had a meal made for this man quietly and without notice. She refilled his pop and told him to stay as long as he needed. Even if the food had been trash, which it was not, the way they treat everyone who walks through that door was enough to make them the best place in town. Now to add to the amazing experience my teenager and I had was that when my kid asked if she could read one of the books on her shelf and the wonder woman running the show just snagged one of her favourite reads down, checked with me first for age appropriate reading, and handed it over and asked when she was done to bring it in for an exchange. That there is one of the reasons this place is amazing. However, I am leery about writing this review. I still hope there is a place to sit when we come again!“

“The place itself can be very mild or very wild, it just depends on the night and how it goes, that being said, dont be the guy who gets too hyper and is spilling people's drinks everywhere by acting crazy.

Drinks are minimum of $10 unless you get a beer which is not much less
Music is good but only on the second and sometimes 3rd floor, but thats just personal preference.
