“I used to think that Wing Snob had the absolute best tenders due to their size, breading and juiciness.

Side Chic’s blows them out of the water along with every other spot in Detroit/Dearborn (Savvy Sliders, Checkers, KFC, Chic Fil A, Chick N Kingz etc.)

The breading on the tenders is very, very flavorful. They also put the perfect amount of breading on each tender.

I absolutely hate overbreaded tenders where it feels like you’re chewing through multiple layers till you hit chicken.

Side Chic’s avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn’t distract from the chicken.

The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. This is not rubbery, dry chicken. The only other way I can describe it is it just tastes fresh. I was thoroughly impressed.

Side Chic’s is a carry out spot that’s open very, very late (which is awesome). Everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant and helpful.

Also, even though the chicken is fresh and made to order, your food comes out in a fairly quick manner.

“Fratelli’s has great food, which is why I’ve been ordering from them, but the customer service has been really frustrating. For the past four times I’ve ordered, they haven’t followed my request for extra Cajun seasoning on the crust, even though I’ve made it very clear. On my most recent order, I specifically told the person on the phone to make sure it was added, and he assured me it was done. However, when I walked in and saw the guy grab my box, he said he checked it, but he didn’t even open it. On top of that, their wait time is insane and ridiculous. It feels like they don’t value their customers’ time or requests. It’s upsetting because I really like the food, but they keep messing up my order. I wish they would pay more attention to what customers ask for. I won’t be going to this location anymore and will give the other one in Dearborn Heights a try.

I want to give an updated review because things have improved. The food has been on point lately, and I’ve noticed the service getting better. The guy working there usually makes sure my order is right and asks if everything looks good before I leave, which I appreciate. They also rarely forget my Cajun crust flavor now, which was my main issue before. Overall, it’s been a much better experience recently, and I’m glad to see the improvement because the food has always been really good.“

“I ordered 15 mins before close, which I never do but it was a rough day and pizza was our only option. When I went to pick up, I apologized for ordering so late to the two guys working and told them about my day. They told me it was no problem at all and even sent me home with a cinnamon bread.
