Oakwood Bar and Grill Reviews
Amazing food and great service, eat here all the time. Always consistent and we highly recommend
Appeared to be a diamond in the rough. Coming home, very far from home on way from DTW, happened to stop off I-94 for late dinner, nothing else seemed to be around. First glance thought bar food...NOPE, best Lobster ravioli ever! Really nice place, great service! Homemade ranch dressing too! Great atmosphere!
My experience here was awful. I spent almost $100 here, I asked if I could request a song and the bartender was so rude about it. So, I went to ask someone else, and I started getting cussed out, and threatened with a broom and told to “leave stupid bitch”. Worst customer service I have ever received and would never recommend this place. The food is average. definitely not worth your money.

Oakwood Bar and Grill is a popular local spot with a buzzy tavern crowd. The atmosphere is nice but very loud. The menu is varied, with what one would expect from a sports bar, including special and seasonal dishes. Food is generally tasty and fresh. The sirloin medallions were really good, though the crab meat served with them was cold. The crab pasta had perfectly cooked shrimp and so much crab. The crab dip from the specials menu was amazing. The chicken tender meal came with coleslaw and waffle fries; the chicken was a bit tough, and the waffle fries had too much salt. Burnt-crisp Coconut shrimp and bloody burgers showed incompetency in the kitchen. Drinks were great. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and service is great. It is a decent spot for lunch or dinner, a better option than fast food nearby. Kids loved their pizza and chicken tenders. It is a comforting restaurant, though it is clearly a bar, not a restaurant.
