“How does this dreamy place exist?!!! This price is good and the Custard is superb! The servers are great. My favorite part is the friends and family that keep this place busy and then everyone stays and eats at the provided sitting area. You will sit down with strangers and leave with new friends. This is a very old fashioned concept and a terrific example of community. This is a great break from modern society.“

“Service was so friendly! I've gotten the fruit fusion smoothie twice and I think it's replaced my go-to from Tropical Smoothie, the smoothies here taste better and much more fresh. Which is to be expected with small establishments vs chain ones. My sister got ice cream, couldn't tell what she thought about it lol, but she appreciated the offer for free samples without her having to ask. First time around, the ice cream I got was very good, hard packed but still smooth. Cute little spot that I will definitely come back to again!“

“We visited La Gelati in West Dearborn and had a truly fantastic experience. The ice cream itself was incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different kinds we ordered. What made this visit unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received regarding food safety.
One of the workers went completely above and beyond for my family. She took the time to help us find a non-allergic soft serve ice cream option for my son, and then actually went all the way into the back to bring out fresh, uncontaminated sprinkles to ensure his treat was entirely safe. It is rare to find a place that takes food allergies this seriously, and it gave us total peace of mind.
The only minor downside is that the shop was quite busy, and with only three workers on shift, it took a little while to get served. However, seeing the level of care and attention they put into helping customers, the short wait was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning!“
“I drive all the way to food town for their natural milk for my 1 year old and I. It was important to me to get my son a more natural milk and morning plastic. So I searched around and found Calder's. We love it 💕 please don't stop suppling food town! We also just got the chocolate milk to try and it's also delicious! One of the best ones I've had. Thank you!! Farm's like this are important! Support our local farms people. We haven't been to the farm yet! But we plan on it! 100% recommend them ☺️🙌🏻“

“My family and I visited this cute ice cream shop a couple of weeks ago. The ice cream was delicious! I got scoops of the Russian Latte 🤤 The staff were also very nice and friendly. I’m not sure the man’s name but he came out just to ask if we would like the umbrella on the table down because we had a spot right where the sun was beaming down. Very nice place.“

“Great little neighborhood spot with a manageably diverse menu. Lots of dessert options and a few snacks and mains. Went yesterday for their first wingding Wednesday and had some delicious wings and banana pudding ice cream. We’ll be making this a regular summer spot. “I have really enjoyed the ice cream bunny cakes I've purchased in the past years. Unfortunately, this year is different. The cookie on the face of the bunny was completely unedible. It had a very strange flavor and left a bad aftertaste. We didn't even try the tail cookie. All the inside cake and ice cream and frosting was delicious though.“

“La Gelati is one of the best ice cream places around! The ice cream is always delicious, the shop is clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. What really made my visit stand out was the amazing customer service from Norah Salah. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and her positive attitude made the whole experience even better. It’s clear she genuinely cares about customers and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. “Really good ice cream and we split the banana split. They should however get some of those divider poles with straps like a Theatre, because people just congregate in the middle of the floor asking each other if they're in line. So a definitive line area would be a welcome addition. Enjoy 😉“

“The doughnuts are stellar and so is the customer service! I was greeted and served by the owner; he was patient and kind as I asked flavors and such (because they weren’t labeled). The strawberry glazed and strawberry doughnut holes were my favorite. The ice cream was a bit soft, like the freezer had been left open of wasn’t working properly.
Aside from the soft ice cream, I have no complaints. The owner appeared to be working alone, but still delivered top tier customer service.
