I highly recommend The Roost Detroit. The hot chocolate is a winner. I also enjoy their mocha. Both the the atmosphere and service is mellow and efficient. The pastries and meals are freshly made, daily.

The owner and staff are all so kind, and the coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious! The shop has a warm, welcoming vibe every time I come in. I’d highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for great service, amazing drinks, and a cozy place to relax.
Completely comfortable and welcoming environment. The owner was pleasant and helpful. My smoked salmon bagel was delicious and there’s so many incredible items to browse while waiting my turn. So happy I decided to stop.
