“We just went here for the first time and we had a great experience. The gentleman was SUPER friendly and helpful. He allowed us to try a bunch of flavors, gave us information about the company, and allowed us to try their AMAZING air fried Oreos. Also they have a HUGE selection of vegan and gluten free flavors. This is our new regular ice cream spot. Thanks again!“

“Loved this place! This was our first stop on the Ice Cream Tour of 2024. They have a fantastic selection of treats: Ice cream, chocolate, candies, cakes, etc. And coffee! The service was wonderful, very friendly and quick, the food was delicious, high marks across the board on our rating checklist. Appearance of the shop and their patio was splendid. Recommended!“

“Few words needed absolutely excellent customer service 100,000% the best milkshakes I’ve ever had. YOU CAN TELL THERE’S REAL STRAWBERRIES IN THEIR MILKSHAKES. I CALLED AND THEY WORKED WITH ME TO CALL THEIR DRIVER AND THEN CALL ME BACK TO MAKE SURE I COULD GET A DELIVERY ORDER CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME. It’s a old-school service you don’t often get these days. “Our families favorite place for ice cream in windsor. It's always clean and the girls are always friendly and happy. Lots of flavors of ice cream to try.

“Coach's is a standard neighborhood ice cream place. The ice cream is good which in the end is what counts. There is a decent selection. It's located in the middle of a strip mall as opposed to being it's own separate building and the parking lot is just feet from the building so space can be a little tight there sometimes. You used to be able to go in the store but they have closed the inside so now you can only order from the outside window. There are only a few places to sit, just a couple of benches across the parking lot, so plan on sitting in your car or standing to eat. Prices are on par with any ice cream place in the area. They do have hand dipped ice cream as well as soft serve so that is a plus.“

“I have been going here for years. My family nd I love this place so much we go almost everyday can’t get enough. Staff is awesome very nice. Owners are so sweet amazing ppl very friendly. Durning the summer u will see the owners outside walking around talking to their customers, making u feel like family. I had almost one of everything on the menu nd I haven’t found anything I haven’t liked. It’s a must go on any type of weather best ice cream in town hands down. Good job Dairy Freezzz u rock!“

“I was sceptical at first thinking this is just shaved ice or sorbet but it was better than expected. There are several different flavors to choose from and you can mix it with soft serve which was recommended to me.
This is a not for profit and they help local Detroit area organizations.“

“This walk up window is located near Parker's Alley but the ordering side is on John R. It is clean and easy to get to. There is a limited menu basically just chocolate or vanilla soft serve. Around the corner there are tables and chairs located in Parker's Alley for relaxing with your treat.“

Stoped by en route back into Detroit and picked up a “small” ice cream cone, when in fact I got the largest swirl of ice cream I’d ever seen. All very creamy and sweet, perfect for a summer day. Can’t ask for anything more.“

“For my last night in Detroit I braved the windy rainy weather to trek over from the Ren Cen to the downtown Maru for a solo dinner—and I really lucked out. I was still in time for happy hour with its reduced prices, so I went for it! I ordered a couple of glasses of house white, which was quite good (not always the case w/ house wines). I then supped, first on an order of chicken gyoza, which was really large (esp for such a low price). Then I ordered the Crouching Tiger roll, which was also quite generous in size, especially at the happy hour price. I'd wanted to try some other items, but my appetite was more than satisfied after the roll, so I hadda call it a night. Recommend Maru for happy hour w/o hesitation. The vibe is urban casual with a mostly youngish crowd, but comfortable for any age.“

“T Bear's uses Kawartha Dairy ice cream which in my opinion is 1 of the better ice creams and made in Ontario. Both female employees were very friendly and were polite.

“This is the place to go for some amazing gelato, bread, and an authentic, neighborly atmosphere. Hands down! Employees are fantastic, gelato flavors are amazing, and even the patrons will give you a nod, smile, and the friendly comment about the espresso - or the football game that day.“

“Big store. Easily free parking available. Wonderful location, Lots of free parking spot. Taste is good. Quantity of ice cream was good. Prices are ok just like any other. Customer service was great. Same price if you get a cone or cup. They make their own waffle cones. Good enough space for dine in. Public washroom available. Quick serving time. Overall was good experience. Lots of options available. Best is to dine outside on bench in open. Will visit again. It is near food basics and lots of other amenities.“

“Was so so excited to get Cold Stone as I hadn’t had it in forever- and Montrae made our experience that much better! He was so accommodating with our sampling, shared his own flavors he likes, and made my ice cream treat absolutely perfect. I got cheesecake mixed with Oreos and cake batter mixed with gummy worms. He made a dairy free treat for my man, which was also fantastic! Thanks Montrae! We will be back.“

“This new girl red hair with green eyes is super nice. I’ve been going to this cold stone for a little while and noticed they hired a new girl. She is a really nice employee and she was really sweet. I must go back to tell her I reviewed for her. I hope she gets some type of bonus. Amazing worker! 10/10“

“Ashby’s is a staple of the Grosse Pointe Community. My family and I stop here almost every weekend after soccer and are never disappointed by the quality of their ice cream. We also ALWAYS get their ice cream cakes, which are made with both ice cream and a cake base so you get the best of both worlds. Only downside is that the place can get a little toasty inside during the summer. If you are in the area, check it out!“
