If you are a fan of the TV show RuPaul's Drag Race, this is the place to go in metro Detroit. They book many of the drag queen contestants to perform in their Brunch shows.Parking: Parking in Royal Oak is free on Sundays and holidays. On all other days you have to pay from 11am-midnight. I'd recommend the Parking garages, as they let you park for the first two hours for free before having to pay.“

I only ordered a smoothie excluding one ingredient due to an allergy.After ordering, I was distracted in an email and may have missed my order being called out for pick up but they walked my smoothie directly to me with a straw and all. No attitude, just friendly. Maybe that's their usual level of service but since there seemed to be a steady stream of business at the time, I was pleasantly surprised.Besides that, the best part is there was no deafening blender noise echoing throughout the store. They really can cause permanent hearing loss without using those quiet-covers to muffle noise, especially for the employees.Parking: Easy, free parking lot behind and spaces in front of the building. Watch out for those typical Michigan potholes throughout the shared parking lot.“

“So my first time experiencing smoothie King was last Friday. It was a fantastic smoothie. I also loved the cup that the smoothie came in. I went back this Thursday, before Good FridayWe ended up getting three smoothies. They were very well blended and very smooth. I love the variety and the smoothies are very HEALTH DRIVEN. Excellent selection, excellent service, excellent time at the window, and I will be going back several more times. I've got so much to experience. Looking forward to trying a lot of smoothies.“

We had the goat dish & chicken dish both served with plantains, coconut or spiced rice, beans & corn/cucumbers salad and spinach side dish, both entrees were tender, seasoned with earthy spices … excellent! Their hibiscus tea and spiced coffee were delicious too. We enjoyed the avocado pudding and passion fruit desserts. Our server was knowledgeable and personable. He made great suggestions. “To be honest, I haven't been to Atomic Coffee in a while, but any time I've been, it's been great! They have a large menu ranging from traditional lattes, cappuccinos, teas, hot chocolates, smoothies, juices, food items, and more. I've had their hot chocolate a few times in the past, and it's always delicious. I've also had the peachy keen smoothie which was so refreshing. One thing I love about this place is the atmosphere here. It's a great place to hang out, study, or to go for a casual coffee date. I need to make a trip back soon!“
