When they’re stocked on Tuesdays, it’s a mad rush to the fridge for the mac n cheese buffalo chicken! 😂 The mac n cheese buffalo chicken, steak fajitas, and korean meatballs are my favorite! “The Mr. and I stopped in for a smoothie to enjoy with lunch, and it was such a good choice.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and friendly. We were greeted right away with cheerful energy, which always sets the tone for me.
I ordered the Avocolada, and it was delicious — creamy, smooth, and perfectly ice cold. It had that refreshing tropical flavor that makes you slow down and really enjoy each sip. The texture was just right — thick but still easy to drink.
The staff was polite and attentive, and the whole visit felt easy and pleasant.
Definitely a great stop if you’re in Royal Oak and want something refreshing and satisfying.

“Lawrence here at the Royal Oak, Mi location is absolutely fabulous, very customer oriented and goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied in their service. “This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are kind and the food is just... Wow. There's no word that I can think of to describe the wraps and smoothies from this place. “First time at Vara and I’m obsessed! I tried their Pomago Passion and wow… it was the perfect mix of refreshing, tangy, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are, nothing artificial at all. The place has such a clean, modern vibe and the staff was super welcoming. Definitely coming back to try more flavors, but Pomago Passion already has my heart!“

“5 Stars because, as a fellow small business owner, I know how important reviews are. I also understand how difficult it can be to find good employees. My juice was fabulous. However, dear business owner, I am not impressed with the 2 young ladies running your shop as I write this review. I placed my order online and received an auto responder telling me that my two juices would be ready in 20 minutes. A fairly long wait but I ran another errand and arrived at your store 25 minutes later to pick up my order. The two young ladies who were sitting around with no customers in the store had not even noticed that an order had been placed. So, I had to wait even longer while they prepared my order. They were reasonably efficient at making my juices. Nonetheless, it was not the quick in-and-out experience that one would hope for.“

“I tried the apple tart and it was really good, I also tried a few other flavors, but cannot remember the names. Overall, everything is pretty good. They do events, which is how I found out about this place. I will definitely be going back to the store in the future to try some of the other stuff on the menu.
When I was at the event, I was chatting with the owner and he's a really nice guy, very hospitable personality always trying to make sure you got to try all the flavors.“

“Where im from, there’s a smoothie bowl place on every corner so it’s been hard for me to find one here that’s as good as home. Well this one hit the spot.
The service was spectacular at at no other place have I found have you been able to mix the bases. Personally I love the coconut with the açaí but here they had banana, so of course I tried that and it was spectacular.
Prices are pretty reasonable and for the bowls, you get a decent amount and it thaws just as good for left overs.
10/10 will be my new stop for an after work smoothie“

“This was our first time eating here. We were immediately greeted when we walked in. There is a self ordering kiosk and we were offered the option to use the kiosk or to place our order with the restaurant staff. He was super helpful and patient. All of the food looked and tasted delicious. We also tried the Mango Green Tea with mango jelly.“

“Missing items all the time. I ordered on Tropical Smoothie today. I was missing my kids meal. I called to get a refund for my missing items as was told they can't refund. I would have to drive all the way up to the store and back for a refund. Seriously. What kind of service is that? I have missing food, you should be able to refund seeing I placed the order with you. That's not good service. It should not be this difficult for a $7 item or whatever it was.“
