I have been coming here regularly for years and there are two things you can count on.
1) Amazing food; have not had a bad dish yet. Steak and eggs and short rib Mac n cheese are two highlights.
2) horribly inept service. It’s been like this for years across different groups of waitstaff. So, it’s a management/ownership issue.
Just accept the poor service, relax and take your time to enjoy and you will have a pleasant time.

Café Muse is an interesting little cafe known for its cute and cozy ambiance. The food is generally well-received, with decent-sized portions and reasonable prices. Customers have enjoyed the sandwiches and other menu items, especially the Smoked Salmon Scramble with Guyere cheese and chives. Breakfast is noted as a highlight, with many praising the quality and quick service, receiving meals like the fluffy vanilla bean waffle with fruit and whipped cream in just a few minutes. Despite these positive aspects, the service at Café Muse has been consistently poor. There are still long wait times, inattentive waitstaff, and mistakes in orders and billing. While the automatic 20% gratuity is meant to support the staff, some customers feel it is not justified given the service quality.
